Not worth a try
I took this because I switched NO brands to see if my results would increase. It was a bad idea. I took the reccommended dosage for experienced lifters…I’ve been training for 7 years. After my second dose of the day I felt irritated and hot, like a bad sunburn. The pumps or energy were not that great. Mild vascularity occured. I reccommend MRI’s Black Powder pre-workout mix. It tastes great, gives me awesome energy, great pumps and vascularity, and doesn’t have the ingredient in it that makes you break out in hives like I did from taking Altered State. Black Powder is also healthier for you than other pre-workout mixing powders such as NO-Xplode. It doesn’t contain anywhere near the same amount of cafeine, you’re just focused, not jittery like with NO-Xplode. Don’t waste your money on Altered State. Buy Black Powder. It works WAY better and is actually cheaper.
inflamed redness ?
i was excited to use these products, but dont think i will again. both altered state and anobolic od sent my face into flames! NOT pleasant. there is way better alternatives to this product for the same goals. if you up the dose on another product, you’ll get same if not better results without the excessive body rash/burning feeling.
Extreme PUMP
Altered State is awesome. If you do what your supposed to do with it (drink loads of water daily and take it on a empty stomach) then it will do what it says. It’s similar to NanoX9 as far as the pump goes, but it AMPS me up big time and gives me mad stamina. I’ve never seen my veins get this dialated. So if you get it, make sure u drink alot of water and it will blow alway NO2 Black or any other top NO product.
Gives you one heck of a kick
I am currently on my third week using this product, and I can certainly say it’s been working nicely. Usually 10 minutes or so pass before I start feeling it’s effects. I can’t sit still and I’m pretty much bursting with energy, it also gives me decent pumps during workouts. I usually take 3 pills twice daily(One dose before workouts). I tried taking 4 once but I reacted badly and my entire body heated up and went red, due to Niacin probably. Other than that the product works great.
Not convinced yet
I’ve taken Altered state for the first time today, i took four caps i must say i didn’t feel a thing. I remember the first time i’ve used Superpump 250 from Gaspari i felt much more energy and pump. Maby there’s some kind of loading fase, i’ll keep using it and make another review in about a week. I’m not convinced yet
works good
i tried pre workout products such as 17 HD, NO@ Black (pill), Gakic, Leukic, cell tech, and probably some others but i cant remember. however, none made me feel what i felt when i took altered state. ive heard that its just another muscle tech, but i decided to try it anyway because you have to admit, they make it look illegal or something. anyway, about 20min after i took it (4 pills), i felt a little itchy, mostly around my head. then 30min into it, i felt like i had to lift (or at least run) or i would die. my blood was pumping, and i did feel stronger. however, i was still itchy. cant wait till tomorow.

No that great. Great advertising but thats it. Muscle Asylum is actually Muscle Tech, and if you do not like their products you wont like this. NO2 Black is by far the best. I highly recommend that.
Average
I finally finished my first bottle. This is an average NO2 product, kicks in a little faster than other NO2 pills and gives pretty decent pumps. I have noticed that the caffeine in these pills helps a little with muscle sourness and I didn’t get any caffeine crash afterwards. Sometimes it keeps me up at nights. My heart rate appears to be much faster during exercise specially when I do cardio. I am ANTI muscle tech, but if you liked their naNO x9, you will like this much better. I know there are a lot of other NO powders and pills out there that might work better but I like the fact that altered state doesn’t make my stomach upset.
Muscle Asylum Project, Altered State
I bought this product and I was told by a friend to only take two pills daily to get used to it. i followed through for a couple of days and then took the serving of 3 tablets. 30 mins later i got a bad reaction to it. my whole body turned red. i recomend that this product be taken conservitivly until the body has a chance to adapt to it. i just wanted to help because it’s not fun. the reaction went away in about an hour and i felt fine. if anyone knows anything about this please email me at []. Follow-up
I felt I needed to follow up with my last review for Altered State. I upped my dosage today to the “experienced bodybuilder” 4 pills, twice daily dose. I took a dose in the morning and one an hour before my workout. I experienced much better vascularity and pump than the 3 pill dose I reviewed. The drawback is that you will be intaking a ton of caffine daily and I did experience some bad flushing after taking the second dose for the day. But the vascularity effects were excellent. I would recommend this product.
Good stuff
I bought this stuff because it was brand new, so i thought I’d give it a shot. I noticed that it has to build up in your system. The first day or 2 I didn’t notice much and was starting to get a little annoyed. But after about 3 or 4 days of taking 3 pills twice a day (as per instructions) I started to notice my veins popping well and my pumps were getting a little better better. I’m going to up it to 4 pills twice daily soon, that may give better results. Another thing I noticed: because it is in pill form, it takes almost an hour for it to actually take effect. They do not tell you this on the box. Personally I prefer a powdered NO pumper like naNo Vapor, but it’s all up to you. Altered State doesn’t have any nasty side effects unless you’re really sensitive to caffine.
Advertising is great…supplement isnt
I saw this and I immediately was attracted to it due to the freakish and awesome package. They try and make it seem like some sort of a legal steroid with the advertising (they have a warning on the top claiming that if you take it you will undergo vast muscle altercations), and let me tell you this product doesn’t even give that good results. If your going for an NO product, get No2 Black. This is expensive and not worth the coin. I had a bit better vascularity and strength, but nothing like what i expected after reading the product claims. And i worked my butt off in the gym too

this product is the best supplement i have ever used! Iam only taking the beginners dose and have no need to up the dosage(started on october 7)i still feel extremely pumped! and i can already see results. the results seem to be perminent. my bench has gone up from 225 to 260 ten twelve reps. i swear to god it also seems like after 3 weeks it is starting to make every single workout pay off. i cant wait for my next workout!

i purchased this product only on the grounds that I was able to use the Thirty day return policy at []; and indeed, i am probably going to take them up on that offer. In comparison to the many NO products i have used, this supplement does not stack up favorably thus far. its another muscletech product…which means all the money was spent on the slightly clever marketing… Asside from the first reddening and itching sensation I received… it has not show itself to be worthy of putting a strain on my liver haha. []…I will be seeing you soon…to get my money back!
