Amplified Creatine 189 Reviews

There couldn’t be a more reputable source for finding supplements GNC. But will every GNC supplement work just because it comes from a reputable company? The answer of course is no. Some companies strive to keep a good reputation, but that doesn’t keep them from turning out some less quality products in hopes of making some more money. Plus, GNC has hundreds of stores, giving them the benefit of pushing whatever they want through their retail staff. So if you’re looking for a creatine supplement and you walk into a GNC outlet in a mall or anywhere else, they are likely to tell you Amplified Creatine 189 is your best bet. But is it?

The simple truth is Amplified Creatine 189 is not the best creatine supplement available. In fact, Amplified Creatine 189 will cost you more than regular creatine monohydrate but won’t necessarily give you better results. At the very best Amplified Creatine 189 will give you same muscle building results as regular old, monohydrate. Don’t fall into the trap or the illustrations they may show you when you walk into the GNC store. Let them know Monohydrate will be just fine, and you can even find it online without having to waste your time talking to an annoying sales person.

There are several better creatine options that will help you effectively supplement your bodybuilding routine. We’ve reviewed hundreds of the most popular supplements, including all of the most popular creatine supplements to help you find the absolute best one available. I’ve had this since couple months ago. I take it when I’m on my workout due to my job function. I also tried Dymatize Monohydrate. For me, this is the much better than the Dymatize. That is crap so I don’t trust review anymore at least didn’t work for me. Together with my 17HD, I feel the power, the undying energy it gives me.

I have been using 189 for two weeks now. I was 205 pounds when i started and 6’5” and in just 1 month i have gain 10 pounds of muscle and i can tell by just looking in the mirror. It is a great product that doesnt give you the jitters like other products and stays in your system all day so you take it in the morning and work out a few hours later and still get the same results. now you all talking about the whole digesting thing, take it with some food and drink a hell of a lot of water, at first i didnt drink enough water and i craped it out but i have been drinking a lot more water and havent had the problem since.

I am a collegiate sprinter and in the off season I lift and have been looking for some different creatine supplement besides mono-hydrate. 189 is where its at. I haven’t seen any crazy strength gains but I am/was already in very good physical condition. I recommend this product wholeheartedly……dissolving issues? drink some water. If you are lifting hard you should be drinking plenty of water with or without taking creatine.

This product shows results. I’ve seen it in my own workouts as well as in that of others I have talked to. Some people are having problems digesting the Creatine 189 though. The Creatine 189 is composed of Hydrochloride and is also hard to digest. I have found a way to solve this problem by taking the pills with Gatorade after each one. This will cause a massive insulin boost which will make the hydrochloride more needed to balance it out. So it gets digested. This may or may not be the case for everyone, but I have found this to be an answer to my problems with digestion. Overall it’s a good product with the proper usage.

Amplified Creatine 189 is an easy to use, highly absorbable USP grade creatine HCL. This is great because its a low dose that doesn’t need loading or sugar which is required to make your pancreas pump more insulin for monohydrate won’t absorb without insulin. If your lips get chapped from it you need to drink water. Your muscles are 80% water and you need full hydration to be anabolic. A muscle without water is like a balloon without air. Generally GNC has good deals on the product if you take advantage of the sales plus gold card.

im 22 years of age and ive been consuming creatine 189 for about a month now and they have been givin me great results in the weight room and in appearance… my bench press, leg press and my reps has went up every bit of 30 to 40%… i have suggested it to a friend and he feels the exact same way about this product… the energy it provides to workout is amazing when my girlfriend and i workout i can never get enough i go in the gym before her and i leave after her i workout on this stuff 2 hours at a time and still wanting more hating the leaving my girl has to come back to the gym and literally pull me out of the gym… lol… i have not yet to have one of those digestive problems dat some guys are talking about kinda sick… what i dont like is the bloating though, so far dats my only negative… this product doesnt give me the gitters and shakes like others products ive taken in the past not gonna mention any names but 189 is so not about that… amplified creatine 189… good stuff… sn: i take it jus like the box say i take mine like 15 mins before i workout with plenty of water… i drink a half gallon to a gallon of water a day…

I have been on 189 for a four months now. I have used other products before Amp 189 and could not discover any difference in results between them. I would not be surprised if there are better products out there but 189 is cheap and effective. The differences you will find between Amp 189 and others is minimal for the price you will have to pay. The proprietary designs of creatine companies make mean nothing, it’s just hype and something to make you pay more. Do your chemical homework and you will find Amp 189 is a super cheap and effective ester ethyl based creatine. I have never had any problems digesting 189.

well i’ve been using this AMP 189 for one week now, i take 1 pill before workingout and 1 pill after, i think its great and i’ll tell you why… i’ve stopped working out for almost 3 years i got lots of fats and lost much of my energy, i went to GNC’s asking about any product that gives me the power and strength to work out well and he recomended 189 and as he has more expensive products so i thought he is not trying to get any benifits from selling it and i got it. now i have more energy than those days before i stop workingout and i feel hungry for weight lifting, i never had this feeling before even when i was totaly fit. i didn’t make any obvious gainings becoz its only one week using creatine 189 but i believe great results will come soon. even if i won’t get great results it’s quite enough for me to be energy loaded during work out which will lead to more lifting and more results any way. so i say its good i cannot say its awesom as i didn’t try any other creatine product but its good and working.
i heard about the digesting problems so i always break it into 2 halfs and drink lots of water with it i never had any digesting problems with it though!!! but i believe it would cause gases if u don’t drink much water.

I have been working out 2-3 times a week for about 6 months. I am 38, so as you can guess, much of my natural ability has decreased… I decided to get some help, so I have been using 189 for about a month along with Protein.. I have personally not seen anything in the toilet…I have seen results, but I am doing a lot of reps, more than in days past. My strength has not increased dramatically, but I can say I do have an extra few reps now days…Could it be in my head? Possibly. Do I look physically different, yes. I have gained 4 lbs. in a month. The only side effect for me is a constant crave to drink water which means more trips to the bathroom…oh well, I will give it a few months to see what happens. At my age, I’ll be more than happy to get a boost, just as long as it’s legal…I definitely think the protein has a lot to do with the results as well..my muscles feel much more solid than they ever have been…ever! Creatine? Protein? Not sure…maybe both?

this product is pretty good because of its small dosage but its packed with creatine where as some other creatine supplements require up to 5 pills per serving with only 3.5 grams of creatine where this uses 2 capsules and it has 5 grams of creatine, and there is no cycling. this product is mostly good for high intensity sports because im a wrestler and when i used it, it worked perfectly but when i just lifted with it it worked ohkay but not as good.

I have been lifting and doing sports for five years now. I just started taking supplements about six months ago and this one has helped me step up a lot. It wont help you tone up unless you diet right and have a very intense routine, but it will help you put up at least 10% more then what you can usually add, or at least that is what has happened for me. I only take one a day in the morning after a meal and short run. I can say that for those of you that it dose not dissolve for, it maybe diet related or just how your body is designed, cant really blame the product. I can say try it before you buy it though so you know if it works for you no need to waste your money right.

I was using this creatine for 3 weeks and i gained 12 pounds. sprained my neck in football and couldnt lift for 2 months. i slowly lost the weight. From my experience i have noticed that while using it i get a huge burst of energy, heart rate goes up, and im ready to work hard. i had 1 case where it didnt disolve but i found out that you have to drink a ton of water. i go through a bottle of water while im working out and about 3-4 refills.

I have tried many many many products over the years and for the most part i never got what i paid for. The first “stack” i ever did is the only thing i can really vouch for. It worked great, i got faster, much stronger, and gained solid muscle. I am now doing that same ingredient stack i first tried years ago again because i figure, go with what you know. Im taking, GNC amplified Creatine 189, Amino Acids, L-Glutamine, and wheybolic extreme protein powder. Started this about a month and a half ago and the gains have been awesome.

My friend works for GNC and got me to try a bottle of this. I was already loaded from another form of creatine, so I really didn’t notice any gains…but as I haven’t experienced any losses, it seems to be working atleast as well as my previous product, yet is easier to take. And to the guy that said “This product is obviously one of GNCs high commission products so of course they will try to sell you on it. I happily returned this product and exchanged it for Cell Tech.” It’s funny that that fact is so ‘obvious’ on account of the fact that it’s not at all true. GNC sales staff actually don’t get commission on GNC items. Third party companies actually pay GNC to sell their products, and so GNC employees get paid commission to sell non-gnc products. Iovate pays the most, and Iovate owns Muscletech…so that Cell Tech that you purchases actually probably made somebody’s paycheck a little happier. The reason that employee didn’t try to sell you Cell Tech from the get-go is probably because he/she actually believed that you’d benefit more from *not* drowning yourself in sugar and ruining your pancreas.

It works... Not like high doses of powder

07 Nov 2009 - Gene of California, USA

I read all the pros and cons about 189. I am 62 years old and wanted to push the envelope a little. Years ago, I gulped powder for months and made big gains. Drank alot of water, sweat like crazy and workout hard. However I felt that my anger and depression rose. After 10 years of layoff, gaining way too much weight, 2 years ago I started back on the quest to be fit as I could be at 60. I stayed away from any creatine for the first year, due to the emotional feelings I had on it years ago. I examined the 189 over and over again. Read the pros and cons…. I decided to go for it, but measure what was going on. For the first 30 days, I felt I was pushing more, which I couldn’t say it was the 189 or the combination of pre and post work out protein with vitamins, aminos, glutamine and arginine. But over the last few months, it is clear something is working very well. My endurance is great, my Metabolism is high, sweat factor.. off scale and strength levels I had a 40. I do work out 5 days a week and active on weekends. I dropped using the 189 when I ran out a month ago. Within two weeks I could tell a difference. How much difference? Not that much. The real deal is that I do know my muscles are tighter on creatine and can understand the water fill concept. Does it make a significant difference? Probably not to the level people wish it would. Is it worth the money? If you live pay check to pay check, I think you can find something better for sure. However, I feel that the moderate effects and consistancy in time and dose works for me. If you are looking for immediate slam bang results, you need to use your own energy and time coupled with proper diet. The creatine whether in powder or 189 can help, only if you help yourself. I may be flushing my money down the toilet as others have posted, but I don’t think so. I believe it works to some extent, just not as advertised. But how many products do what is advertised? Agrinine is another long time, old school supplement that works great too when you are consistant in taking it and pushing yourself for results. That is my thought…. If you want the big bang, don’t buy 189…. It is for old sly guys that is looking for a little aid and are consistant that want to sneak up on 30 year boys and maybe not out do them, but sure put the hurt on them!

I’m 24, active and athletic, and my 4-5 day a week workout consists of a variety of exorcises including running, swimming, weight-lifting, and calisthenics. I regularly use a high-quality protein and maintain a balanced diet. Working out is my hobby and a great stress relief. After about a week of using GNC’s Pro Performance Amplified Creatine 189, I feel nothing but an upset stomach. I have used and cycled creatine powders with some great results, but this is the first time I’ve used a pill form. My body does nothing but pass the ridiculously large, disgusting tasting pill. That’s right, the whole pill comes out in the toilet. I’m literally throwing money in the toilet. Personally, I feel most of GNC brand products are of somewhat inferior quality, and Amplified Creatine 189 has simply confirmed my feelings towards their products. I suppose crushing the pill would aid in absorbing the pill, but the fact that my body didn’t absorb -any- of the pill is a red flag to me, saying “this should not be in my body!.” Creatine is pretty much the closest thing to a miracle in a bottle, but Amplified Creatine 189 is, so far, the most useless creatine I have used. Back to the drawing board, GNC.

I’ve been using this product for over a month now, and the only thing that is consistant is the capsules showing up in the toilet. Sure, the guy at GNC praised the product saying it is the best creatine on the market right now. But I ask, how can something help you if your body isn’t digesting it for use? This product is obviously one of GNCs high commission products so of course they will try to sell you on it. I happily returned this product and exchanged it for Cell Tech.

I tried Creatine 189 and was consistantly on it for 2 months. When I was taking it I gained muscle and my bench press went up significantly quicker than normal. However when I stopped taking it I realized it was making me think different then I normally would. It seemed like I couldn’t proccess my thoughts clearly. Also after stopping it about half the strength and bulk I gained from using it was lost. I would not recommend this product.

I had recently started taking creatine 189 in the middle of january where I was 5’8 145 lbs. And it is now the begining of march and I now way 156lbs. I am happy with the gain but i have also been taking muscle milk to help as well. I am in off season for soccer and i am currently in my track season. And i have seen lots of improvement in my fast twitch muscles with this product along with my training. The only side effect i have with this product is that my methane levels are a lot higher than usual. All in all I feel like this product is very good and well used.

I have been on Amplied Creatine 189 for about 5 weeks now. I am 41 and am on Creatine for the first time since taking Creatine Mon… back in 1997. Without hesitation, this is working with great results. I am 5-8 175 pounds and back to benching 300 pounds. I was benching 300 at 22 years of age and in my early 30′s only to not be able to as I approached late 30′s and now 40′s. I am gaining size, strength and muscle (some weight gain) mostly due to my appetite increasing with extra energy/resulting in more working out resulting in greater hunger) but the good weight. The original creatine Monon… from the 90′s made me bloated and though I was benching 300 lbs on it, I was “off of it too” and found it to be overrated. So for me personally this works (and is easy to take I just take the 2 pills every morning without fail. Good luck

ive been using this product all summer and i have to say that it might depend on your body if its gona work or not. i have seen significant improvement with this amp creatine. the claim that was made on the box was exactly what i experienced. i started goin to the gym and was leg pressing 200lbs then used the amp creatine 189 and within a few weeks i was at 400lbs. so i like doubled my strength. i would advice to not take more of it to try and boost the effects cause you will get water retention, but i would definetly recommend this product.

I purchased this at [] under the guise that it was far superior to any creatine currently on the market. The biggest problem with these creatine pills is that they DO NOT DIGEST. The show up in the toilet days later. I finally began removing the pill casing to make sure they would digest, but even after taking a full bottle I noticed no difference at all. Try a product like cellmass, it’s much better.

Oftentimes the pills will not digest and you can see them in your toilet. You can break them up to fix this. But…If you have any body fat the creating hydrocloride ‘being fat soluble’ will cause you to retain water. Thus making you look bloated. This is by far the worst product I have ever seen. The only reason it is on the market is because the employees get more of a commision from selling this than most products.
