With collagen, they claim that you can get stimulant free weight loss. There are various patented formulas that claim to give you the ultimate power of collagen protein. They say that it will burn more fat, build more lean muscle mass, and otherwise give you all the greater benefits that you are looking for. They say that this is the best possible approach to weight loss you could take. But does it work?
While the claims about patents and everything else sound quite appealing, they don’t ring true. The simple fact is that frankly speaking, collagen has no proven weight loss benefits. Yes, it has been found cushioning the joints to some degree, yes it has been found in the skin. But it can’t even in this form help the skin because it often does not actually get into the pores.
With this being said, there are absolutely no proven weight loss benefits associated with collagen. It has never been through a single study. It is stimulant free, but bovine collagen can still cause some side effects as it is foreign to the body and sometimes the body reacts. This being said, they are basically working it because CLA has been proven. But CLA and collagen are two very different ingredients.
