Cellucor D4 Extreme
D4 Extreme Reviews
Finding a fat burner that works without leaving you feeling jittery, nervous and restless is one of the most difficult process when it comes to finding supplements. So many supplements on the market today are just loaded with green tea and a whole lot of caffeine and other stimulants. Yes, it’s true, those stimulant based fat burners will give you an energy boost and may help you burn a few extra calories, but is the nasty way they leave you feeling really worth taking them? It’s just not. We’ve heard a lot about D4 Extreme so we wanted to find out if it is one of those stimulant-based pills that will leave you feeling nasty or if it actually works.
After looking through the ingredient list, we were instantly concerned. Of course caffeine and green tea are found on the list of ingredients and white tea also contains caffeine. So you are actually getting a lot of caffeine. Of course green tea and even white tea have shown to beneficially when it comes to weight loss but they can also leave people feeling awful. Embelic Myrobalan is another stimulant designed to give you an energy boost, but it can also leave you feeling jittery and restless.
The difference D4 Extreme makers would like you to believe is that this product can help you burn fat by stimulating the central nervous system to enhance your workout performance and mood. The final two main ingredients, octopamine and evodiamine, are supposed to be able to help you burn more fat. Some of the ingredients look promising, but with as many stimulants included, D4 Extreme should only be used with extreme caution.
D4 Extreme is absolutely not a diet solution for the weak at heart. D4 Extreme is designed specifically for the hardcore workout folks, who are used to stimulants. If you are sensitive to stimulants, you should absolutely avoid this product.

I have taken supplements before so I know what I’m doing. Drank plenty of water, but after one day…one pill in the morning at 7am and one pill in the afternoon at 1pm…I went to bed with a slight pain in my abdominal are and I woke up the next morning with such horrible abdominal pain that I couldn’t even work out. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Should I increase my pills?
4.0 of 5.0
This is my 3rd day taking the D4….First day I took only 1 pill to see how D4 would affect me as directed by the sales guy at GNC, and I didn’t notice a difference in my energy….so I increased the dose on the 2nd day and now 3rd day …..I took 1 pill before breakfast and 1 pill before lunch, and still no difference in energy….The sales guy also said it should make me sweat which I haven’t had an increase in either….should I increase the dose to 2 pills before breakfast and before lunch? or should I give it more time to kick in? Please advise.

Ok.. well I just bought my first bottle of D4 extreme. Phil at GNC told me that I will love it if I loved ephedra back in the day when they sold it at the stores.. legally. I work out usually on a regular basis but lately I’ve been feeling a bit sluggish… no motivation to hit the gym. My husband now has the energy and drive that I used to so in order to get back in the swing of things and catch up to his progress.. im gonna give this a try. Starting weight 156 lbs. I’ll post back in a week or 2 to let you know what my thoughts are.. here goes nothing !!!

Sick..

I received samples this product for the first time about a month ago and felt pumped and alert. I told everyone how they made me feel and how great they were. After finding which one I wanted to actually stick to, I went to my GNC and they didn’t have what I was looking for so she game me more samples of D4. I was excited because I really liked them but I wasn’t trying to spend that kind of money on them.
I took one at 6:30am and I felt ok, no rush, just ok. It is now 12:30pm and I feel like CRAP! I feel fluish and I just want to go home and go back to bed. I don’t know what went wrong this time. I drink AT LEAST A GALLON of water a day and I continue to drink more thinking this feeling with go away. I tried eating and everything and now I feel like I need to go home and go back to sleep.
I almost feel like this product is a hit or miss. I’m looking for product that is a hit. Thanks but no thanks.

D-4 extreme
4.0 of 5.0
The first day that I started the cycle I took 2 pills. Side effects were: dizziness, jittery hands, racing heart beat and insomnia. It kept me up for about 24 straight hours. I continued the cycle and eventually the effects wore off. In one month I went from 220lbs to 205 lbs. The stuff works, but you have to drink A LOT of water! To get the full effect, you must incorporate some type of physcial activity. Sitting on your butt will not work and you WILL lose sleep. I work in the medical career field and I can tell you that this stuff isn’t ideal for your cardiovascular system…..but hey, we all try to cut corners sometimes.

So i have tried other appetite suppresants in the past. This product is no joke. I have taken it for 5 days, i eat what i want, run 1 mile a day combined with 10 swimming laps and a p90x ab workout. I have lost 5 pounds already. Great products thats seems to be working. As far as all these other reviews about losing sleep, i find that odd. I take two D4′s in morning and 2 at 4pm. I have always been albe to sleep fine. Also, i dont get jittery like other products.

Better than ephedrine
4.0 of 5.0
I took ephedrine for awhile several years ago (before it was illegal) and had a cardiac episode, so I am very wary about trying new supplements. I started taking this product about a week ago, and so far have definitely noticed results. I only had to take one pill in the morning so far, and my energy has lasted all day. Yes, I have been having a bit of a harder time falling asleep. I also noticed the muscle cramps when I don’t drink enough water. Overall though, it is a good alternative to the sugary energy drinks I usually have to gulp down to get more energy! I don’t know if I will need to start taking two pills per day (still only half whats recommended). I am small (5’6 and 125lbs) so a quarter dose works fine for me!

I’ve been taking this product for 5 days and feel great. I am full of energy and have just the right appetite to stay on a healthy diet. I have lost a total of 3 pounds in 5 days. The only downside to this product is loss of sleep. I can already recomend this product to anyone on a healthy diet and exercises regularly.

So so, general supplement thoughts
3.0 of 5.0
Look, this is meant to be taken as a SUPPLEMENT to a WORKOUT. If you do not burn out the energy, you will lose sleep, get mood swings, etc. (probably lots of side effects are really related to sleep deprivation). I take 2 pills a day: 1 at 7am, 1 at 1-2pm. My regiment is cardio workout in the morning for about an hour, and another workout in the evening (read P90X Doubles) 5-6 days a week. So what does D4 do for me? It gives me the extra boost I need before the workout. I skip it on rest days, so my 60 capsule bottle will last me a bit more than the 30 days. Just finished 1 month of working out with D4: overall lost about 15 pounds, but gained very visible muscle everywhere, so true fat weight loss is more than 15 pounds. Would I recommend it? Probably not, there are other healthier ways to boost energy, I am using it cause already invested the money into the bottle. Once I run out, will not buy more (I mean any “fat burning”, “muscle building” supplement; healthy diet, exercise and regular vitamins are more than sufficient to get to where you want to be).
As with any supplement, IMHO, there is a psychological part with taking it(them): “I am taking this so might as well work out to look [ripped/lean/better/...]“. This might be what one needs to get into a healthy schedule, but I feel once you establish your regiment, stick to diet and exercise.
There is no fast and cheap cure for losing fat and getting into shape!!! You always pay and it takes time! I would much rather pay with a regular workout than health. (This is with regards to any supplement, not just D4).
Hope this helps.

Im not complaining
4.0 of 5.0
Im deployed right now….started taking these about 2 weeks ago. Im pretty active….ive been taking these pills combined with the Insanity DVD made by Beachbody. WIthin 2 weeks ive lost 10 pounds…im satisfied with that so far. Its not an outrageous amount in a short time frame, so I know it will be easier for me to keep it off. Its actual fat thats being lost…not just water weight. Its not for the fat sloppy and lazy. If you use these, you better be active. Also, I dont drink coffee…..ever. I dont get jitters….nothing. I actually take my last dose 1 hr prior to my workout…(about 1030pm) and im comfortably sleeping by 2 or 3am. The energy isnt overwhelming….its just enough to keep you focused. Get em!

I recently tried the extreme after previously finishing the regular thermal shock. I am 6’1 180lbs. It works great if you dont abuse it. The dosage allows 2 pills twice a day. I take only one half of a pill in the morning and that is it. I buy extra capsules and make two pills out of one. The supply lasts much longer and a half is all you need. I work out 5 days a week and drink lots of water. I cant believe that people take any stimulants at all and dont work out. That is insane. You are better off NOT taking any and working out. I would highly recommend taking one half of a pill in the morning and eventually the other half at noon. I find that taking only a half works great. Im sick ripped.

Pretty good but...
4.0 of 5.0
The first night i made the mistake of taking these 2 pills at 5pm…. Was unable to sleep felt like i was on coke. After the first day or so the jitters went away for the most part. If I dont eat every 3 or so hours I feel faint and a little dizzy. Awesome results so far as long as you drink enough water and eat something every couple hours… almonds are a good snack 4-5 almonds if i feel faint and it takes me right out of it. All in all not for the weak hearted but does the job and gives energy for your workout if taken an hr or less before.

I cant say its perfect but I have noticed an increase in mood and energy. The only concern I have had is during and directly after my workout, my hear rate is unbelievably high. It worries me and I may stop taking it or lower the dosage because of this. However, it is worth a try for those who are more used to stimulants. (I’m not a regular coffee or tea drinker).

Be carefull

This supplement may work well. However I was unable to take it long enough to test its results. When I first took it I noticed a strong energy boost and good mood but 18 hours later I was unable to sleep and my heart was still racing. I am a big guy 6’3 240lbs. I took the recommended dose and my heart was still over 100bpm at midnight. I tried it twice 10 days apart to make sure it wasn’t something else and both times it did the exact same thing. It may not do the same thing to everybody but please be careful.

Try it!!

This product is not made for the everyday joe, you really have to stick to a good diet and exercise routine. It has a lot of caffine so for those who have been expierencing headaches thats most likely the reason why, plus you have to drink tons of water. I’m drink at min a gallon a day. Its true that the suggested use is 2 pills morning and 2 pills mid-afternoon, but after your tolerance has been assessed. I’m 5’2″ and 130lbs but I workout everyday, this product is good as long as you follow guidlines. I like it and recommend it.

Not getting results
3.0 of 5.0
28 Aug 2010 - Tara
I’m 5’4″ and 121 lbs. Mid march 2010 I weighed 147 and with working out 6 days a week and watching what I eat, I have lost 26 lbs. I want to lose an extra 6 lbs. I started D4 Extreme 2-3 weeks ago and just a couple of days ago I started taking the T7 Extreme. Im not at the gym 6 days a week anymore and i’ve allowed myself some cheating days. I’m not losing anymore weight! What am I doing wrong? I workout 4-5 days a week for atleast an hour! hardcore cardio with weights. I take 2 D4 at 8am, eat….Then I take 2 T7 at 9:30am. Noon I take 2 more D4, eat….then about 1:30 take 1 T7. I workout at night. Not losing any sleep, no alcohol, soda, juice or junk food. Its been 3 weeks and its not shedding any fat or at least im not seeing results like some of the other people that have posted on here. Anyone else experiencing the same? How should I get these last 6 lbs off?
