Gakic Hardcore Reviews

Gakic Hardcore is a pre-workout supplement that some have stated is ushering in “a new era in muscle building performance.” While researching Gakic Hardcore you may encounter statements such as “Gakic is the biggest bodybuilding breakthrough ever” or “the game has changed, the rules may have to be altered, performance might have to be redefined, your success, however, is imminent. Gakic has officialy arrived.” It is apparent that Gakic Hardcore can talk the talk but can it walk the walk? The Gakic Hardcore manufacturers boast of clinical trials and publications in literature such as Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise. Finding the links to these studies proved to be another matter.

The ingredients found in Gakic Hardcore are listed as a Patented Muscle Fatigue Toxin Neutralizer Blend (10876 mg) that includes glycine-l-arginine-alpha-ketoisocaproic acid calcium, xanthinol nicotinate, yohimbine HCI, prunus mume extract, and terminalia catappa extract. A majority of these are stimulants which will probably give you a boost in energy that can cause your workouts to be more effective. We can’t really say that we see anything spectacular in the Gakic Hardcore composition but we can see that if would give you an edge when taken pre-workout, which is all it really promises to do.

A serving size is rather large at 8 capsules. It is recommended that you take each serving of 8 capsules between 40 to 45 minutes before a “high-intensity workout.” Gakic Hardcore claims to have a very “potent nature” and should only be taken on days when you are going to work out. The consumer reviews we encountered were generally positive (although you can be sure that some of those reviews were planted by the company) and it seems that Gakic Hardcore can give you an energy boost and help you to see gains. If you are stimulant sensitive you should probably avoid this one. Also, the taste of the beverage is horrible according to more than one previous user.

Worried Mom

My son took the first four pill dose as recommended… He took the recommended second dose that increased to eight pills and had the worst reaction I have ever seen. His whole body was white, he was nauseous, dizzy, heart was racing, his chest got heavy, and having a hard time breathing… He threw up for an hour, spent eight hours in the hospital hooked up to an I.V. and today is still feeling sick with heaviness in the chest, nauseousness, anxiety, rapid heartbeats at times… I would never recommend any stimulants like this to anyone… I am angry that the dosage is not more clearly stated or researched for age and weight and how many to take for someone who is medium framed (150 lbs) to start with.

I don’t know if any of you have used this for long distance running but I have. You will notice the difference! I have used this product for a year now. I am 50 years old and i run 6.75 miles or 10K at least 4 days a week. I don’t normally take 8 I take only 6 pills. I don’t see this helping anyone who wants muscle gain. I use it only for the toxin and fatigue removal. I notice a small amount of strength boost but I am running long distance. I have run one day with and one without and clearly see an edge.

Not Going to "Feel" anything

4.0 of 5.0

23 Apr 2010 - Chris from Chicago

I have just started using this product (only 2 workouts now). My numbers don’t lie. I am lifting heavier than I was without it. I would normally workout using 120# on a close grip lat pulldown. My last workout I was able to increase that weight and add an additional 10# + 3 extra reps.

As far as “feeling” something, heavy weights are heavy. That’s all you should really be feeling, is how heavy the weights are. If you want to feel anything else, you are taking the wrong kind of pills. I don’t recall Muscle Tech advertising that GAKIC was going to get you high.

Strong and effective

16 Sep 2009 - Kevin of Ontario, Canada

Let me say that the recommended dosage of 8 pills isn’t necessary for everyone. I would recommend that if you are under 180 pounds, that taking 4-6 pills pre-workout is more than sufficient. My opinion is that muscletech suggests 8 because they want you to finish the bottle as quick as possible so you will buy it again. I find that this product gives a significantly greater strength boost than many of the NO products, but I didn’t find the pumps not to be as intense. Bottom line is that with this product I am definitely able to lift more weight for longer. The biggest negative with this product is that it contains a very large amount of caffeine and results in a crash a few hours post-workout.

I got a free sample from GNC last time I was in and thought I would give it a try. I am pretty used to taking nos and such so I thought I would get a push but I took all eight pills about 15 minutes before my back workout. I spent my usual hour or so in the gym and pretty much didn’t feel anything. No rush, no nausea, no extra energy over my usual. I may try it again if I can get a free but from first try, not impressed. try before by

Spontaneous Combustion

17 Apr 2009 - Rob Carter of Quebec, Canada

I don’t know if I was possibly allergic to it but I have to tell my story so people might think twice about taking full dosage at first at least. I took full 8 pill sample and I swear to God; honest truth my face became ALL red, my ears almost freakin glowing with my chest pinkish to red, almost felt like I was burning up from the inside, my throat got tight and I was almost about to call my fiance to bring me to the hospital, again, like I said…I’m not bashing it, just advising those of you wanting to try it to start with lower dosage at least. I got the scare of my life. Later on, I did my workout cuz I’m a workout addict, was feeling nauseous but did a bit better in my pushup counts and same for pullups. I might be the only this happened to or to which it will ever happen but please take into consideration. Maybe I would have gotten a better view on it if I had taken less.

Good product as advertised

18 Feb 2009 - Dan of Virginia, USA

I have been taking this product for about two weeks and I am in love with it. I am able to train hard throughout the entire workout and still have energy to spare. Usually on this stuff I have to get someone to make me leave the gym. The eight pills is a bit much but if you have taken anything in pill form for working out you should already be used to it. I have not had any problems with my heart rate but make sure you drink plenty of water as with any product in this category. There is a crash associated with this product about 6 hours after taken it but no other complaints here.

Not Impressed

27 Jan 2009 - Taylor of Indiana, USA

I used this product for the first time lifting on my own and at first i felt great untill I started pushing myself a little bit got my heart rate up. As soon as I started working hard I got dizzy and had to slow down. I took this before one of my football workouts with my team (they are very intense) and I was out of breath a lot quicker than what i would usually be. However I could tell a difference in strength on the 2nd and 3rd sets of the lifts I did. This product is great for slow paced lifting, but not for intense workouts.

Gakic hardcore

12 Jan 2009 - Jeff of New York, USA

I’ve been using this supp for about 3 weeks now and it’s not as good as the original Gakic… The hardcore has too much caffine(equivalent to 3 cups of coffee)…it made me feel very tired and my heart was beating very fast between sets… It just made me feel horrible… I’m an experienced lifter, not a little guy who doesn’t train hard, (I bench 580) I wanted this supp to push me over to the 600lb club….so just stick to the regular gakic… It is a better choice…

Not as good as the original, Lots of side effects

20 Nov 2008 - Joe of West Virginia, USA

I went through a bottle of the original GAKIC and loved it. I had very noticeable increases in my strength, and even had better cardio workouts as well. However, this new stuff is not the same product at all, much less a “Hardcore” version of the original. It gave me awful headaches, made me feel listless, despondent, and crash really bad before getting into the majority of my working sets post-warm up. If you’re dead-set on trying this product because you liked the original as I did, feel free; just remember to save the receipt.

Its Ok

11 Oct 2008 - Ross of South Carolina, USA

I tried Gakic Hardcore, in hopes that it would be better than the original formula. It was not. When taking Gakic hardcore, I could notice small increase in strength and endurance. Iam beginning to move away and lose faith in Muscletech products, because of their extraodinary advertising claims, and by simply adding the word “Hardcore” to a semi-effective product. For the money spent not worth it, Id try another product.
