I recently purchased my first IsoPure Zero Carb Whey Protein in Vanilla flavor. I had been using Muscle Milk Light vanilla as well as EAS Whey Protien and both of those products, while good, were making me break out in acne all over, which is NOT something I need or want. I have had very good results so far with the IsoPure… no breakouts to start with. I really like that you can actually mix this stuff with a spoon and it won’t clod or clump up, which to me is one of the most annoying things about making shake supplements. The flavor of the IsoPure Zero Carb Vanilla is bland, and a little sweet, but not overly so, its pretty much perfect. I don’t mix it with anything except water. On the very positive side I do not get any unwanted bloating or intestinal side effects (gas, etc) which does seem to happen with other products. Overall I would highly recommend trying this product out. In the morning, I use it to make a very small cup of power oatmeal. Mix up a 16 ounce batch of IsoPure Zero Carb Vanilla and then add 6 ounces of the liquid whey to regular quick cooking oats (5 tablespoons) and cook in a small cup in the microwave. Its sweet and is a perfect small amount of carbs for breakfast, which I have along with cooked egg whites. I drink the remaining 10 ounces of whey protein along with my breakfast. Works for me. I have lost 23 lbs so far since July 4th, adding this product to my supplementation regimen I hope to lose an additional 10 – 14 lbs by October 22.

This is the best protein powder I have taken. If you are an endurance athlete but not looking to be a twig, Ispoure is your protein. For example, I went from 155 lbs 10% body fat to 156 lbs 7% body fat in 3.5 weeks with Isopure. My 1RM bench press went from 205 to 220 as well. My 2 mile time went from 12:12 to 12 flat. However, if you are a purely looking to gain large amounts of weight/muscle, you might want to take something with more carbs and fat such as muscle milk or cytogainer. Stir Isopure in warm water for best test and so that it doesn’t coagulate. I would also like to note that during this time I also followed the “burn the fat feed the muscle” plan by Tom Venuto (which I also recommend).
