Testosterone supplements can be very hit and miss. If you find one that’s safe, it might be too weak to work. If you find one that “hits”, it might cause serious side effects.

It is very rare that you see a testosterone booster that can be both safe and effective, but could Novedex XT be one of these oddities?

More About Novedex

Novedex XT’s formula was designed without any prohormones. This means there is no risk for side effects like gynostemia (man-breasts), oily skin, acne, and water retention.

Additionally, Novedex XT’s blend also contains no strange plants that supposedly have plant steroids meant to boost luteinizing hormones. Rather, Novedex XT uses a blend of three unique ingredients called 6, 17-keto-etiocholeve-3-ol tetrahydropyrano, 3, 17-keto-etiochol-triene, and 3,5,7-trihydroxy-4-methoxyflavone. These three compounds were engineered to help boost testosterone through suppressing estrogen synthesis.

Novedex’s Formula

Typically speaking, more testosterone creates a snowball effect that results in anabolic growth throughout the body, but unfortunately much of this testosterone is converted into other hormones such as estrogen and DHT. By inhibiting testosterone to estrogen conversion, your body can have more of the testosterone it needs to build muscle, unlock better performance, and raise resting metabolism rates.

As mentioned above, Novedex XT uses 60 mg proprietary blend of aromatase inhibitors. This means that these ingredients work synergistically to inhibit the enzyme aromatase, which is responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen, making it easier for you to make use of the testosterone your body already has.

Novedex XT retails for nearly $50 a bottle, which is a bit pricey for a product with only 3 ingredients. However, it can be purchased for closer to $35 a bottle depending on which seller you go through, making it much more affordable if you’re on a budget.

Novedex XT lists its ingredients under a proprietary blend, hiding its precise concentrations from the public eye. Although it only has 3 ingredients in its formula and 60mg per serving, there is no guarantee that this product divides its concentration into three equally effective parts.

The possibility remains that Novedex XT could be relying heavily on one ingredient and skimping on the others, or the concentrations of each might not be in their clinically proven amounts. It’s always best to exercise a little bit of caution before investing in a proprietary blend because you never know what’s hiding under the lid.

Additionally, Gaspari Nutrition has issued a nationwide recall of Novedex XT because the ingredient 3,17-keto-etiocholetriene “does not meet the definition of a dietary ingredient and therefore the product is in violation of provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.”

After researching Novedex XT, and its main ingredients, we discovered that even though this formula may inhibit estrogen, Novedex XT may not be as effective as many other testosterone boosters on the market.

We’ve consulted several consumer reviews, only to find that most users only experienced mediocre benefits at best, though the side effects were kept to a minimum.

Additionally, we advise consumers to steer clear of products that have been recalled from the market, simply because your safety is our number one priority.
