Aplodan = Creatine + Alpha Lipoic Acid

1 May 2008 - Efrain of Puerto Rico, USA writes:

This is my recommendation to athletes before buying supplements, please read the labels on box and do some research about ingredients. Muscletech use chemical names of simple ingredients to look glamorous but this is basically simple science added to marketing. Aplodan is this: 1. 2-(Carbamimidoyl-Methyl-Amino)ethoxyphosphonic Acid - This is the chemical name for creatine. 2. 1,2-Dithiolane-3-Pentanoic Acid - This is the chemical name for Alpha Lipoic Acid (an antioxidant). Muscletech use simple science but use the chemical names to enhance marketing on the box. Don't waste this money on this crap. The science behind this product is to remodel damaged cells but you don't need to buy the expensive Aplodan to do this.

MuscleTech is weak!

2 Apr 2008 - Stuart of Florida, USA writes:

I tried one bottle of this about 6 months ago, and I actually lost 3 pounds when I finished. This was the first supplement that after I was done taking it, I lost weight. MuscleTech is one of the biggest scams in the world. I feel for customers that see Jay Cutler on their advertisements and think that is how he got so big. Do not buy this product.

WHAT IS THIS!?

16 Mar 2008 - Rob of Ontario, Canada writes:

in all honesty i any a very hard worker in the gym or when ever i work out, so when i hear about something thats gonna improve the poundage of this hard gainer im gonna look into it.bought 2 bottles to ensure that 1 gave it a good shot and 2 i know alot of things like this need time to get the best effects. so i did so the loading phase 3 pills a day blah blah blah and after all that and 87.43 i am here to tell you guys (and girls) do not take this save your money and get something that ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING! pointless is how i would describe this product. nothing not one pound/strengh diff. so unimpressed with this it almost made me never want to use any muscletech products because i feel robbed. simply put, buy some protein or BCAAs cuz this stuff is junk.

20 Jan 2008 - Alex of - -, Brazil writes:

I started using aplodan in setem-ber 2007.After 4 weeks nothing hapened.Them on week five,I star-ted feeling more energy during my workouts. On week 6 lowered my intake to just one caplet a day to the aplodan last more days. Weeks 7,9 and 9 were fastastic chin-up went from 10 reps to 8 reps holding 25 lbs.Handstand push-up went from 6 reps to 22.Rest days went from 5-6 to 2-3 for all bodyparts.I think using only one caplet a day for months itīs the best way to use this product. It gives results and saves cash.

Aplodan...

23 Oct 2007 - Tony of New York, USA writes:

I've gone through 2 bottles of the stuff, and the first time i didn't notice much of a difference, more than anything i attribute my gains to the placebo effect. The first bottle i utilized the recommended dose then i took a month off when i didnt notice significant gains, however i decided to give it another try and this time i decided i'd take roughly 6x the does (instead of 2 pills 3x a day, 3 pills every 4 hours) and i've noticed an amazing difference. My max bench was 270 at the start, and i did nothing but calisthenics like push ups and pull ups and within 2 weeks i went back to the gym to max, and it was up to 305. So if you don't mind risking possible side effects, of which i havent noticed, double or triple up on it, and i bet you'll notice.

AploRight.

12 Oct 2007 - Dan of West Virginia, USA writes:

i spoke with a trainer who gave me a great tidbid of information; Aplodan raelly does work, just not on its own. My trainer says that aplodan is created to work in cooperation with celltech hardcore or any other creatine, and protein. You can't expect activated fibers to grow on your normal intake of protein/carbs etc... you need to take extra supplements and actually increase your protein intake to about 2.5g per lb you weigh. After you do this, and stay plenty hydrated aplodan will really help one gain a severe amount of size.So in all of this, after listening to him i've been taking alot of whey protein, cell-tech hardcore, and aplodan... for 3 weeks and i have seen some moderate gains, I am i hard gainer so the fact that i only gained 7lbs is still meaningful. Those of you gene freaks should make substantial gains off of the right stack.

disomething, but it wasn't productive

12 Oct 2007 - Derek of Florida, USA writes:

I tried Aplodan a few months back. after the first week (where you take double the dose) i was noticing no difference in my strength gains or muscle size. The one thing i did notice was twichy muscles. i would just get random twitches out of my lats or triceps at any random time. i have gotten these before after good workouts, but these seemed to come at random times, not necessarily the same day i worked that muscle. dont waste your money. if it really is activating muscle fibers, they dont want to listen and just twitch randomly anyway. I am a fan of other muscletech products, so im not bad mouthing the company, i just think this product is worthless.

cool on the outside, but whats inside

8 Oct 2007 - Cody of Utah, USA writes:

I am always willing to try any new product that claims to do what Alpodan does. well turns out Alpodan is just that, a another outrageous claim that lured me into blowing money. oh well, you can learn from my guinea pig mentality...silver pills!? its so obvious!

crap

7 Oct 2007 - Scott of Virginia, USA writes:

bought this some months ago, it does nothing. From the first time one of these ultra light, big, silver pills falls into the palm of your hand, you get the feeling that this isn't gonna do anything, and it sure don't. Might as well taken a sugar pill, and saved a ridiculous amount of wasted money.

Only looks good

21 Sep 2007 - William of Arkansas, USA writes:

I have taken alot of supplements over the past nine months that I have been working out and Aplodan is by far the worse. I try to not stack alot of stuff so I can know what is good and what works, but when I ran out of protein and creatine and was only taking the Aplodan I felt the same as I did when I was all natural. My advice is to stay away from it because it only looks good it doesnt work good.

No Effect

30 Aug 2007 - Eric of Alaska, USA writes:

Not exactly sure what's in this product but I've been taking it for 3 weeks now and have not noticed any difference. I'm also taking a NO product, creatine, and protein supplements so I'm going to conclude that my gains are based on those. Don't waste your money here.

Great Marketing, But thats It!

17 Aug 2007 - Mike of Missouri, USA writes:

I have been seriously lifting weights since 1993 and have seen a lot of supplements come and go. Muscletech does a great job with their marketing. Even having tried their products in the past and been dissappointed, they always come out with something new that has very attractive claims. So I decided to give it a shot and see if the hype even had a portion of merit. To give it a fair shake, I purchased 2 bottles, figuring by that time, I would have given it a fair shake. I eat well, lots of protein, healthy carbs, etc... Unfortunately, this supplement just doesn't match its claims and doesn't work. I wish it did. We all joke that this supplement should be renamed AploCrap instead. Stick to the basics, good food, protein, glutamine, and creatine. Aplodan is a waste of money! Take a look at No-Explode.. At least you can feel the impact on your training!
