Mixed with water, each serving supplies 80 grams of carbohydrates from glucose polymers and crystalline pure fructose (no high fructose corn syrups are present). Muscle and liver glycogen are the body's most important sources of energy during strenuous activity. Scientific studies show that glucose (preferably glucose polymers) serves as a direct precursor of glycogen synthesis in muscle more than other sugars or carbohydrates. While fructose, which is primarily metabolized by the liver, is nearly four times as efficient in restoring liver glycogen. It's this dual combination of glucose polymers and fructose in Carbo Fuel that allows for maximum replenishment of glycogen in the muscles and liver for enhanced performance, rapid recovery and higher endurance levels. This product was AWESOME!! Now that I'm back in the gym getting my life turned around, I just found out TwinLab discontinued the product. I wish they would bring it back!!!!!! I guess it did not sell?? All I know is that it WORKED!!! K
