We've been using Designer Whey for many years. Favorite flavor is Vanilla Praline. It mixes better than most and it has a great flavor. I wish they had not started using the artificial sweeteners that they do -- it would be better if they used stevia or erythritol, which are sweeteners that are non-caloric and naturally occur in plants (stevia), vegetables, and fruit (erythritol). But that is my only complaint.

I have tried several brands of protein powder and, honestly, I have not noticed a big difference in quality or performance. What sets Designer apart is taste. It is by far the best tasting protein powder on the market, which makes it much easier to take it regularly. It should also be noted that it mixes well, with or without a blender. Hightly recommended.

If you want a good, quality, inexpensive protein without over-hyped advertising this is the whey\way to go. *With jokes like that no wonder I haven't had a girlfriend in five years. :) :( Back to the protein, a reviewer mentioned how there's an artificial sweetener in his Designer Whey. I specifaclly starting using this product because its natural flavored protein doesn't have any artificial sweetener in it. I ususally mix it with orange juice and milk and it tastes better than any protein shake i've had without ice cream in it for the past twelve years I've been lifting. Just make sure not to neglect other aspects of your diet. Peace!

Best tasking protein powder on the market, with one caveat for those concerned about artificial sweeteners. The product is now sweetened with the artificial sweetener Acesulfame-K which another one of those chemicals facing safety criticism due to alledgedly flawed testing. Review these claims on the internet and decide if you want to take the risk based on what you read. I love the product but as a result of the above, I do not allow my young teens to use it.

I have used Designer Whey for about a year. I was initially attracted to it because of a lower price than some of the other proteins. I have enjoyed the product because it does taste better than the many other proteins I have tried, without sacrificing quality. It also mixes well (although I usually use a blender). A good buy if you are looking for a high quality protein that is relatively inexpensive.
