I took a chance on this product even after reading a bunch of negative reviews that it didn't work. Because reviews are subjective, I decided $35 is a small price to pay to find out if something works (as opposed to other Hoodia products for $100 or more). Well, I learned my lesson. The first time I took it I seemed to be less hungry and was excited about it, and every time after it I found it had no effect. Even doubling the dose didn't make me eat less. After some more investigating, I came to the conclusion that low-priced Hoodia products are likely not real or don't have enough Hoodia in them to work. I tried another brand after Dex L-10 and it works a little better, but nothing to write home about ($40 product a friend swore worked for her).

I'm a physician with a lot of weight to lose. I'm very skeptical about the too-good-to-be-true claims made for supplements (where are the placebo controlled trials?). I exercise daily but that just increases my appetite! You can tell I had to be desperate to try something like this. To my surprise, it actually seems to help. On days I take 2 or 3 I eat fewer calories, and my appetite is moderately supressed - go figure.

I used this product as the first hoodia product that i have used. Since using this, i have tried some cheaper off brands. I was however totally unhappy with the crappy cheaper brand products. This product stop the hunger and made me feel more full after eating less then ever. If your going to use hoodia dont blow your money using three or four off brands. Go straight to the good stuff and get this.
