great protein

8 Apr 2008 - Jerry of Ontario, Canada writes:

I have tried have been on and off this product, i like to switch up every once and awhile, but this protein is great. if your looking to slim down, just use water and the taste is still awsome!! or if you need those extra carbs and fats then skim or 1% milk does the trick. and above all this product tastes great, mixes well, and is also one of the cheaper proteins on the market for pricing.

Good for summer

8 Apr 2008 - Peter of New Jersey, USA writes:

I have found this to be a really good protein shake. From my experience I would suggest Muscle Milk from Sept - March & going with this one for the summer months when trying to stay trim & lean. I've seen results without the bloating.

WOuldn't use anything else.

7 Apr 2008 - Richard of England, UK writes:

I have used over 15 different proteins; this is by far the best i've used yet. It mixes well... its palatable and doesnt give me any digestive problems. I have 4 shakes a day, of about 2 scoops, and it goes down a treat. I recommended it to two mates and they rate it as highly as i do too.

Great Price, Good Taste, Easy Mix, Great Content!

5 Apr 2008 - Graham of Alberta, Canada writes:

I have tried and been using this protein for well over a year now. I amusing the tropical punch flavour as well as Rocky Road. Both taste great and work well in different mixes. I use the Tropical for blender mixes with fruit, and the Rock Road for strait protein/water mixes. The Roacky Road seems to mix a little bit easier with a spoon; whereas the Punch tends the leave lumps if your not using a shaker cup. I dont get bloated on either of these and dont get the sudden explosive bowel gas like some others give you. The BCAA's and Glutamine count in this protein is top notch. There are also a handfull of other nutrients and minerals loaded into this powder. I highly recommend these two flavours. I cant speak for the others as I havent tried them yet, but if they are anything like these two... I give two thumbs up.

the only protein you need

5 Apr 2008 - Tom of London, England writes:

Great product. Mixes effortlessly, even with milk. Taste is good (although the cookies flavour tastes more like coffee flavour). Good value too.

one of the best

1 Apr 2008 - Ryan of New Brunswick, Canada writes:

I can honestly say that I have tried at least 20 different types of protein products and this is the only one that I stick with. Taste is great, mixes easily with no chunks left over. Highly recommended.

Perrrrrfect...

29 Mar 2008 - tatu of California, USA writes:

My doctor suggested to abandon milk since it makes my poo-poo thick (He told me that lots of people have this problem), and to try supplements with water, and my god this "100 % whey gold standard- banana strawberry" tastes AWESOME with water. like a fruit punch. its "protein isolate" which is (the purest and most easily digestible form) better than Whey protein powder. Really really cheap, 16$+3$ship for 2 Lbs.. (I ordered it from []).(Just want to share and not to advertise.)

A++

29 Mar 2008 - Fergy of Florida, USA writes:

Great balance, lactoferins are critical when using this form of protein. Excellent BCAAs and other extra's. Easy to digest. I have gone has high as 48g per serving with no digestive discomfort. Taste is fine, although I come from the age of Shaklee so anything that is not cement tastes good to me. I like Vanilla because it mixes well with Gatorade post workout.

Solid Product

28 Feb 2008 - Micah of Georgia, USA writes:

I've used this product for a couple of years now and It's always been effective. It's a solid product that delivers a good amount of protein with little fat, carbs, or sugars. It doesn't have a great taste but it won't make you vomit. I've never had any trouble with cramps or gas. An excellent everyday product.

Best Protein

23 Feb 2008 - Anthony of California, USA writes:

I've tried Syntha 6 (best taste, clumps, & got nasty gas), M3 (taste below average), Muscle Milk (got fat quick, clumps, thick, fake nutritional facts, not 4g of sugar unless they used Splenda obviously not), Probolic-SR (YUCK!), and etc... Optimum is the best! why? it dissolves quickly and is adsorbed by the liquids. It does the same for your body when you drink it. No gas, upset stomach, or problems. Price is right, taste above average, easy mix, and works. A+ in my books.

Great Choice

1 Feb 2008 - Dave of New York, USA writes:

Very effective whey protein product Cost/serving ratio is phenomenal; it's very inexpensive. Product claims to have the most whey isolates, hydrolyzed for better abosorption. However the whey is micro-filtered rather than cross-filtered which may disinterest more finicky supplementers. Added BCAAs and EAAs are a plus. Very easy to mix. Have been using this product since 2007..when Optimum Nutrition changed the appearance of this product. have noticed a significant flavor change...French Vanilla was the best flavor no questiton Vanilla Ice Cream tastes like ass sprinkled with Sweet and Low

Best in Indian Market

23 Jan 2008 - Vikas of Maharashtra, India writes:

Well for one, I have been consuming the ON 100% Gold Whey for more than a year now. It's light on the digestive system. I like the Chocolate and Banana Cream flovours the best. Sorry for saying this, but Tropical Punch sucked. I used to consume it like medecine. But overall, I would like to rate it as the finest quality Whey product in the Indian market. Also, it's priced optimally. I highly recommend Banana cream as my personal fav. Also makes for a great smoothie with milk, real banana and Yoghurt in it. India currently is flooded with many Whey products from the US, but Optimum Nutrition seems to have caught on the most.

Tasty in my book

3 Jan 2008 - Jake of Virginia, USA writes:

I've gone through numerous proteins and I am totally satisfied with ON's whey protein. It tastes just fine by itself. Even better when I make it into a smoothie. You also can't be the price. Chocolate is my favorite. Cookies and cream is a little rough for me.

Is OK

19 Nov 2007 - Luis of Virginia, USA writes:

I started to use this product about two years ago beacuse of all the good reviews an the Ads. But now that i know a bit more about protein i think is just OK . I think any protein will give you 3 to 4 lbs of muscle in a year if your diet is strict. I know that PRO COMPLEX or ELITE COMPLEX are what you need as far as protein to build muscle, if can affort 100% whey you should try PRO COMPLEX or ELITE COMPLEX and you see result after a few weeksIMO.

4 Nov 2007 - james of California, USA writes:

Great Product...price not bad

13 Oct 2007 - Jason of Wisconsin, USA writes:

Optimum 100% Whey is my personal favorite whey protein. Here are the positives: -Mixes very well with anything -Variety of flavors...most taste very good. I currently have Cookies and Cream. -Same results as other whey proteins I've tried -I paid $24 for 2 lbs. It may be more than [], but this is quality stuff for a very reasonable price. Negatives: -None really. I suppose it doesn't taste as good in water as it does in milk.

Good Value for the $$$

15 Sep 2007 - Ben of Indiana, USA writes:

First if what you're after for is great tasting shake, go get one at a fast food joint near you. Whey protein was not intended to be great tasting the flavor was added so it can be a bit more easy on the taste buds for consumers to use. As far as nutritional value (assuming the product label is accurate) it is probable one of the best in the market. I'm a 34 year old male, 4 days a week lifting / cardio / workout schedule and I take 3 one scoop serving per day blended with 8oz of skim milk (morning, pre and post workout) on a workout day and I take 2 one scoop servings on my off days. I can definitely feel the difference on how it affects my workout as far as lenght and intensity is concerned, I would not go without this product. Foundation of building lean muscle mass is PROTEIN, and this product has what you need.
