Great Protein

5 Nov 2007 - Sam of Indiana, USA writes:

Let me start off by saying this is the best tasting protein I've ever used. Some people have issues with it mixing, but I had no problems as I was using a shaker bottle that has a wisk inside of it called a "Blender Bottle" (you can buy them at []). There are some concerns about the fat content causing you to gain fat. But I used it for a month straight, 2 shakes a day, and didn't gain any fat. Overall this stuff tastes amazing, gets the job done, and is just a great all around protein supplement.

It works, ive used it for a month, and it works. If you can tmix it your a fool. Go buy a decent shaker(the power shaker is good) and it mixes perfectly.

Let down...

18 Oct 2007 - Anonymous of British Columbia, Canada writes:

Well, im always on the hunt for a new & different tasting protein. I was talked into this by the sales-woman on how great it tasted... so I bought it. I should of done some more research on it. I tried the "Peanut Butter Chocolate" version and was let down by the taste. Not the best my opinion... Probably the worst part about this is the fact that it is nearly unmixable. I tried first just by spoon... and ended up with lumpy, powdery spots. And then by blender and STILL ended up with a poor consistency. As well, I feel bloated each and every time I use this mix.

Deliciously Bad.

6 Oct 2007 - Anonymous of New York, USA writes:

MuscleMilk is the best tasting protein is the market and it helps u gain, TRUE. But, good fats are only good in moderation and drinking this stuff 3 tims a day will give u a 3 delicious servings of 60 grams of fat, if u drinking it in water. I got off it for 10 days and stop going to the gym and i kid u not, My closes fit me very loose. Musclemilk=bloated very much so. Musclemilk is a great product, the only problem is that is being advertised wrong, the truth is that musclemilk is really a weightgainer meal replacement and not a protein supplement.

Less Filling - Tastes Great

20 Aug 2007 - Scott of Missouri, USA writes:

Finally purchased after all the hype and this stuff really does taste great compared to some of the other products I've had previously. Haven't taken long enough to comment on results - but at least I am not gagging down nasty shakes any more. Mixing the chocolate with no sugar added vanilla soy milk. Minimizes the carbs and adds a little flavor.

Muscle Milk FLAVOR Review

5 Aug 2007 - J.D. of Washington D.C., USA writes:

I've done my best to catalog a number of the Muscle Milk flavors on my personal blog at: [] It may help you in making the best decision before you shell out thirty dollars. I'd also like to hear your thoughts, so feel free to post a comment. Overall, I think Muscle Milk is great tasting, easy to blend, and easy to drink. It far surpasses most other protein shakes and I really have no reason to drink any other product. I only wish [] would start carrying it!

Let me set this straight...

11 Jul 2007 - Kratos of California, USA writes:

I read the reviews here which prompted a review of my own: Tastes better than anything my strict meal plan allows me near, far better. The gains, I can't speak for yet but what concerns me is how everyone claims it is easy to mix. WTF? It is so clumpy I feel like I'm eating Oatmeal (delicious cookie tasting Oatmeal). I suggest cutting carbs to almost zero while on this protein to utilize fat for energy more effectively. Can't complain about anything here accept the high price but quality usually involves that aspect.

Muscle Milk CALORIE REPLACEMENT

29 Jun 2007 - Nick of Indiana, USA writes:

if you notice the bottle of mucsle milk says that it is a calorie replacement. It is higher in fat, decent in protein, has some carbs....it's bascially a meal in a can.... It tastes awesome, and I will every once in a while buy a single premade serving for a postworkout shake because you need the carbs/fat/protein the most then, but as far as a protein shake....I would also invest in one with lower fat/carbs which will also probably have more protein, and leave the muscle milk for before/after workouts.

yum

13 Jun 2007 - Eric of Ohio, USA writes:

Cookies and Cream with Slim Milk. Friggin delicious. I seriously starting drinking like three of these a day. The fat content started to worry me. They are supposed to be "healthy easy to burn" fats but..... I thought the product tasted great but I'm switching to a lower fat protein source.

I love it. It's great.

16 May 2007 - Lily of Masschusetts, USA writes:

Hi. I really like this product, I have used other whey proteins, and they taste like chalk. I guess that is a good name for the taste. Ugh! Yek! Well, I joined a gym recently after not working out for a few years and decided to convince my boy friend to do some more healthy eating while I start my own health regime. He tried a shake, and didn't mind it at all. Which is good, because now I don't have to pay for the whole bottle. Ha. We split the price. The only that that concerns me is how much scientific study is behind the 'lean lipids'. Does anyone know?

Muscle Milk truth

4 May 2007 - Anonymous of North Carolina, USA writes:

I've tried many protein shakes, bars...etc. They all have the same thing in common-bad taste with great results. Most of the time this will be true. I have had trouble downing most protein shakes. i just can't handle it. They taste like watered down hot chocolate. But then i tried Muscle milk. Let me be the first to tell ya it is great. It taste exactly like a milk shake or really good chocolate milk. i recommend it to anyone who has trouble with protein taste. As far as results, it does what is supposed to. I don't know about fat loss though, just have to wait and see.Oh yeah i got the chocolate milk flavor.

Cool

30 Apr 2007 - Cruz of California, USA writes:

When it comes to training and supplementation, I really can't tell if my gains come from intense training or good supplementation. I train religiously so, obviously, I going to make some gains. I think Muscle Milk has helped me get to where I want to be. Muscle Milk is a great product because it tastes awesome and doesn't give me gas or the runs. When you drink it with milk, it tastes more like a treat than a protein shake. I actually look forward to drinking it before and after workouts. I would definitely recommend Muscle Milk. However, it's important to remember that Muscle Milk won't do the work for you. Only intense training, proper nutrition, and dedication will get you where you want to be.

Can't go wrong

5 Apr 2007 - Paul of Oklahoma, USA writes:

Muscle milk, love it! From a functional standpoint, it mixes easily, tastes great. Probly the best protein shake I have ever used,, mainly because its much more than just a protein shake. Its extremely high fat content (Medium chain fats that cannot be stored as body fat)is great for naturally skinny people like myself. I would recomend muscle milk to anybody, wannabe bodybuilder or not. Sometimes, I will mix it with Cytogainer to get a full spectrum of Whey/Casein protein, as well a great combination of Protein/Fats/Carbs. My highest of recomendations.

Tasty !

27 Mar 2007 - Patrick of Gent, Belgium writes:

Well this is a very biological complete proteine powder, that tastes great, has a wide variety of flavors, well, if it would be cheap it would be too good to be true, yes, it is expensive but you get quality. Only one piece of advice, if you want to drink only one a day, have it at night before going to bed, this is caseine proteine, it releases slowly therefore its ideal before sleeping. After a workout have some whey protein, which releases much faster in your body stopping catabolism. Your welcome.

Solid Product

18 Mar 2007 - Anonymous of New York, USA writes:

I've been taking different types of proteins: Nitro-Tech, Designer Whey, and Optimum Nutrition. One thing I noticed about Muscle Milk is that it is very easy to mix, which is a plus when all you have is a cup and spoon. After taking a year off from lifting, I bought Muscle Milk, and after stacking it with NO-Xplode and Cellmass for about 4 weeks, I've gained 5 lbs of lean muscle. I weigh 170 lbs now. I take it 30 min after my workout and right before sleep. 4 weeks ago, I was struggling with 40-lbs dumbbells incline bench press (as you can see, I'm not a pro bodybuilder). But after about 5 chest workouts, I've now been repping 65-60 lbs dumbbells in the same exercise. Although I don't know if Muscle Milk is responsible for this, I can say that it definitely was a factor. My chest is a little thicker after using it for 4 weeks.

Faithful consumer

18 Mar 2007 - John of Ohio, USA writes:

Since I was in the military a couple of years ago, I have refused to use anything else. It is a little expensive, but given the fact that it's properties are conducive to creatine uptake, aids in fat burning and has a plethora of vitamins, increases oxygen delivery to your muscles and the like, it's very much worth it. Not to mention that if you do some searching on the internet or find it on sale in a store, you can find it relatively cheap. I picked up two 2.48lbs containers for under $50 yesterday. Whether I'm looking to cut fat or build muscle, Muscle Milk is a staple of my diet.

Best tasting shake out there

17 Oct 2006 - Harry of Massachusetts, USA writes:

I've tried so many different flavors for protein shakes, and Muscle Milk by far has the best taste. A little too expensive for me though, I go with bulk powders. But often when I'm in the mall, and theres a [] outlet, I sometimes stop by just to get a single bottle of the milk chocolate or mochia Muscle Milk. And yes, I have tried Rocky Road by Optimum Nutrition! So far that flavor is my second favorite, but much, much more economical.

Awesome product!

30 Aug 2006 - Justin of Indiana, USA writes:

Muscle milk is one of, if not the best supplement I have ever used. The taste is second to none and the results have been even better. By taking two shakes a day and working out 3-4 days a week, I have seen tremendous gains. In a six month period i went from a scrawny 165 to a filled out and cut 195.
