I purchased this product a while back and started using half a dose for a week to slowly adjust. While walking around the house over the weekend, I noticed a slight heavyness in my heart. Thinking that it was the pills, I stopped taking them and after a few days, i didn't have that feeling anymore. After stopping, i noticed that thought the scale hadn't moved, i felt a little looser in my clothes, so the product does work. I unsure it was the hoodia, if i just needed to exercise or what, but it wasn't good for my health. Oh well :)

Hi, everyone. I'm a 20 year old mom, gained about 50lbs during my pregnancy. My weight is now 167. I have tried other supplements but have felt the jitters, and terrible heart racing. My goal is to lose 35-40 pounds by June. My schedule isn't great, i go to work part time and attend school full time, not to mention am a full time mommy. It's hard to fit in much time for exercise. I hope this time is different with the energy i'm supposed to get from the product. I will be starting slim-quick tomorrow, and will keep you posted. Here's to a new and better us!

I started May of last year. It did make my heart race so I stopped it. I tried it again, I take 1 pill a day,in the AM. I can't do the 2nd one later because I can't sleep. I tried 2 in the morning and I felt sick and cranky so I only take 1. I am 57 years old, 5'5" started at 162 my highest ever. I am now 137! 25 pounds! I workout 3 or 4 times a week for 1/2 to 1 hour before breakfast and cut meal portions in half. I limit fat and sugar. There is no magic pill. You have to make an effort. I feel the pills really did help me lose weight! I am down 2 sizes and my size 10s are getting loose! My goal of losing 30 lbs in a year looks like a real possiblity. I'm not sure if the new formula is better but I will keep taking them. I am so happy with my results!

I am surprised to see so many good reviews of this product. I tried it for the first time 2 weeks ago and had to stop it after just 5 days. I felt great the first day and had alot of energy, but by the third day i became so depressed i was almost suicidal!! I was unable to think or express my emotions. I cannot eveen describ how bad i felt. The worst part of it all was a bought 2 bottles of it and didn't keep the receipt so now i am stuck with these pills i don't need. I don't advise anyone to try this product, i stopped taking it days ago and i still do not feel like my usual self. Other weird side effects include body rash and scabs on lips.

I am on Week 2 of SQ new & improved. I was fine the first week but this week I noticed that I have a lot of gas! So much that my stomach makes loud noises and I was afraid to attend my exercise class last night for fear of embarrassment. I also noticed that I have some sort of "discharge" after each BM. I'm definitely going to stop. I am only trying to lose 10 pounds, and this is not worth it. I hope this helps others.

I tried slimquick about a year ago. I had never tried any other weight loss supplements before. Within the first month I had lost about 12 pounds. It was pretty easy. I took the pills and watched what I ate. Most of the time people want a miracle drug and put forth no effort you still need a low fat diet and a little exercise. All I did was walk about a mile to a mile and a half a day. you can't loose any weight setting on the couch wanting the pill to do it's miracle!!! I went from 254 to 140 in about 6 months. People are alot friendlier to small people. People act totaly different towards a bigger person!!! Thanks slim quick!!!

I started taking this around the first of January. Stopped taking it while I was sick last week (cold/congestion) but I have lost 7lbs so far. I have taken a lot of diet pills in the past...most make my heart race. I have found I can take 1 pill of slimquick, but not 2 at a time. It does work at taking my appetite. I am a little nauseous sometimes...but nothing keeps me from eating like being nauseous, so its ok... so far so good, and I will continue to use it.

I am a healthy, 24-year-old female who maintained a pretty healthy weight for the past 4 years (after having lost 50 lbs in 2003). After starting law school my weight begun to fluctuate again and I noticed that I gained a few pounds. (8 to be exact) I eat healthy but b/c of classes I wasn't exercising as often. I heard about Slimquick from a couple of women at work and decided to give it a try because my efforts in the gym and in the kitchen didn't seem to get my scale to budge. My experience? I felt like I had stomach flu for 3 weeks. My heart would race insanely like I was about to have a heart attack, I would get nauseous, light-headed, get headaches and the worst part - didn't lose a pound. I stopped taking Slimquick because in my opinion ANYTHING that makes a young, healthy person feel the way I felt CANNOT be GOOD FOR YOU.

Alright well it's my first day using SQ, ive been on NV but that made me really jittery. I'm hoping this one doesn't make me the same way. I took it this morning at about 6:30 am and ate about 20 mins ago (8:51 am right now), so far no stomach pains or anything. Looking to loose about 60 lbs so working out and eating right is a huge part of all of it.. wish me luck!! i'll post in a week with results!

I started this product yesterday morning at 8 a.m. I had so much energy that I worked out before I ate breakfast. (which I heard helps you burn more calories:) I still felt hungry after eating smaller meals, but I guess my body has to get use to the smaller meals. The only thing I did not like was I took the last pill at 2 p.m. and when I went to bed at 10:30 p.m. I could not sleep at ALL!!! I did not get to sleep until 3 a.m!! I hope this does not happen again!! I hope the 2nd night is better. I'll try and give it a week but if sleep is not getting better I will not use it the product any longer.

I started taking SlimQuick Hoodia about 3 days ago. I feel so much energy, the good kind... not the jittery kind. My appetite is practically non-existent.. and I was ALWAYS hungry before I started this. I am also using the slimquick powder drink mix. I put one in a bottle of water in the morning, the more I drink the more I fill it up with water.. until there is no mix left at all. It is helping the cravings. So far so good, I will keep you posted!

I have been taking Slim Quick pills for 3 1/2 weeks now, and I say it generally does what it claims. I have felt no adverse effects taking HALF the required dosage. I haven't been following the diet plan because it requires me to eat more calories than I have been with Weight Watchers. Generally, it gives me energy, puts me in a better mood, keeps me "regular", and I've lost 5 pounds without trying.

Well today is my first day. I have noticed more energy and my appetite has been suppressed somewhat, only slight hungerness around my normal meal times, but was full half way through. I only need to lose 40lbs so I am hoping this will help. If not I am going back to Relacore.
