I feel a slight kick from it (I think it is from Spike, as I am not sure if it is a placebo effect). It is nothing like the kick you get from taking ephedrine... while it was legal. But the price is what kills the deal for me. Too expensive for the small amount of energy you get.

I've been taking iron supplements to help deal with being lethargic and decided to try something new. I do work out regularly, however I didn't take SPIKE to boost my workouts; I just needed more daily energy. I'm 5'7" and 125 lbs; I take two tablets a day and have been sweet since. It is a bit pricey though and probably not something I could keep taking forever.

I admit that the product is slightly overrated and a simple cap might not work for people who are used to caffeine (ex: 2 cups per day and above). It does give some additional focus to your workouts (once you find your dosage; 1, 1½ or 2 caps). As a side note, I find it more useful for school than for the gym.

I would rate this stuff as overrated. It works, yes, but like a lot of products where most reviews are on the site that sells it, there is bias in it's favor. It works well stacked with yohimbe, alone you generally need a double dose for a good workout, making it too expensive.

It's a good energy product. I can feel it kick in, but I don't really know when it wears off. It gives a boost to your workouts. I don't take it regularly, so I don't know if you adapt or not. You can pick up sample packs for pretty cheap at gnc. Buying it online is cheaper than in the store.
