Test X180 Reviews
With Test X180 Ignite, Force Factor has combined a testosterone booster and fat burner into a single product.
According to the official website, Test X180 Ignite is designed to “give you the spark you need to become more of the man you want to be.”
Thanks to endorsements from athletes such as Pro Football Tight End Vernon Davis, Force Factor products have skyrocketed in popularity. But is Test X180 Ignite powerful enough to live up to the hype? Let’s find out.
Test X180 Ignite provides the ingredient information for proprietary blends along with the total amount. The Manliness Ignition Matrix and Fat Incineration Complex each total 400 mg per serving.
Here’s a complete breakdown of the two blends:
Manliness Ignition Matrix
Testofen. Testofen is a fenugreek extract standardized to 50% fenuside saponins. Saponins are purported to increase luteinizing hormone and testosterone production.
In a clinical study, 60 healthy males were given 600 mg Testofen per day for 6 weeks. Researchers concluded Testofen significantly improves libido aspects and supports normal testosterone maintenance.
Green Tea Extract. Green tea contains catechins, which are powerful antioxidants. In addition to improving cellular health, catechins increase fatty acid release to promote energy.
Experts recommend taking 1,000-1200 mg divided into two or four doses to boost metabolism and fat burning.
Avena Sativa Extract. Avena sativa reputedly improves libido and male vitality. However, there is insufficient research to support avena sativa an effective testosterone-boosting agent.
Caffeine Anhydrous. In addition to boosting metabolism, caffeine anhydrous increases the rate at which fat is burned for energy.
To maximize caffeine’s benefits and minimize side effects experts recommend taking 200 mg/d caffeine.
Horny Goat Weed Extract. Also known as epimedium, horny goat weed possesses PDE5 inhibiting properties similar to Viagra. This facilitates increased nitric oxide production and blood flow.
It also contains the chemical icariin, which is effective for combating erectile dysfunction. I was unable to find a recommended icariin amount in the study.
Fat Incineration Complex
Green Coffee Extract. Green coffee been extract is extensively promoted on television and internet advertisements.
Encouraging studies show green coffee extract reduces body fat and improves blood sugar management. This means lower insulin levels and reduces fat storage.
Experts recommend taking 400 mg/d green coffee extract split into two doses.
White Tea Extract. Similar to green tea extract, white tea also increases metabolism and thermogenesis.
White and green tea both have similar dosage recommendations. To maximize white tea’s effectiveness, take 1,000-1200 mg/d white tea divided into two or four doses.
While Test X180 Ignite does provide a complete ingredient list, it is still in a proprietary blend. This makes it difficult to determine whether there are sufficient amounts to be effective.
I was further disappointed by the price and availability. The only websites I found selling Test X180 Ignite were ForceFactor.com and GNC.com. It retails on both websites for $79.99.
Should You Buy Test X180 Ignite?
I do not recommend purchasing Test X180 until reliable customer reviews are available. In addition to being expensive, the proprietary blend doesn’t allows us to see whether it has sufficient ingredient amounts to be effective.
