Didn't hit my stars when I posted review

4.0 of 5.0

16 May 2010 - Shawn K Hicks

I wanted to give it it’s just due. When I posted my review before,-I didn’t rank the stars. I am giving it 4 stars. I subtracted one star for the preseason creatine product being inferior to their other two products.

Training day overview.

1.0 of 5.0

I consider myself to be an experienced supplement user. A friend of the family who just got drafted into the NFL,-gave me some packets of the Gametime, Preseason, and whatever the name is for the post-workout pills.

The Gametime I really liked. It has some arginine in it which helped with circulation,-but not so much that you tighten up when running or doing conditioning. When lifting there are products you can take where the arginine causes even greater circulation and pumps,-but I don’t personally want to be tight,-if I am actually conditioning or playing ball. I also had increased endurance as advertised. When the product has run its course,-I don’t have a crash.

The preseason packets I do not care for as much. It is a blend with creatine monohydrate as the main supplement. I don’t care as much for the monohydrate old school form of creatine. I typically will have more bloating and water retention when using the monohydrate form. I used it since it was free,-but I would not buy the preseason packets again.

The post workout pills I like. They have your necessary amino acids, a cortisol blocker, and some zinc, etc that you need. I felt like they indeed helped with my recovery.

Finally analysis. I highly recommend two out of three of the training day products. The gametime and post workout pills are great. The creatine (preseason) product I consider to be mediocre.

I really liked it

I am an employee at a nutrition store, this company came to Kansas City for the Big12 championship was played, they were handing out samples and t shirts so I walked up to find out what it was about. The guys working the booth were super friendly and really imformative, they game me a sample and t shirt and asked me to try it and let them know what I thought. I took it before a basketball pickup game on Saturday and could not believe how good I felt on it. I really like this company and will be trying to get their products for sale in my store.

Pretty good stuff

I only tried this product because my girlfriend works at a popular supplement store and I got a good discount. Otherwise, it’s over priced compared to others in its category. I have to admit though it was very good. I was coming off Superpump 250 and wanted to cycle onto something different. My pumps were great, and very rapid once it kicked in. Energy was sufficent but not over the top. Although I consider SP250 the standard, Training Day is close, but without the trips to the toilet you get with SP250.
