4 Ways to Attack Fat

4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4’s formula is not particularly unique. The ingredients are commonly used in other fat burning supplements, although not in this precise combination. A few ingredients were clinically proven to burn fat in humans, but most were not.

The company reveals dosages, rather than hiding them in a proprietary blend like most companies do. However, there is not enough research to show whether all the dosages are safe and effective.

4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4 is affordable, but it’s not the best fat burner. However, it may work for you. If you decide to try it, tell us about your experience by leaving a comment!

4 Dimension Nutrition claims their new fat burner Cycle 4 is different because it “works on four distinct pathways to incinerate fat.” The first pathway increases thermogenesis, the second enhances focus, the third curbs appetite, and the fourth blocks fat production.

I was curious about 4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4 and the approach it takes. But more importantly, I wanted to know if it’s safe and effective. So, I analyzed the formula and searched for research supporting or countering the company’s claims.

What Ingredients Does It Use?

4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4’s label promises “clinically validated ingredients.” This statement implies the ingredients were tested during clinical research. However, the company doesn’t actually provide any references or descriptions. I found the following information through scrupulous research:

Caffeine (125 mg). A clinical study showed caffeine dosages between 100 and 400 mg boost energy expenditure, thermogenesis, and alertness.[1] These results confirm caffeine enhances fat burn and improves exercise performance.

Raspberry ketone (100 mg). Ever since Dr. Oz mentioned raspberry ketone, sales for this fruit extract have surged. However, research supporting raspberry ketone is limited. For example, a mouse study showed raspberry ketone breaks down fat cells and oxidizes fat, but there are no human studies.[2]

Halostachine HCI (15 mg). Related to the now-banned ephedrine, halostachine HCI is said to burn fat, aid focus, and stimulate the central nervous system. However, no clinical studies support these claims.

Synephrine HCI (10 mg). After ephedrine was banned, many people began calling synephrine the safer replacement. It’s a stimulant purported to burn fat without increasing heart rate and blood pressure. According to several studies, 10-53 mg synephrine HCI boosts metabolism.[3]

Tyramine HCI (5 mg). Tyramine HCI supposedly increases dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine levels. Dopamine improves mood while norepinephrine and epinephrine elevate energy and burn fat. I was unable to find clinical studies proving tyramine HCI produces these results.

Hordenine HCI (5 mg). Derived from tyramine, this stimulant is claimed to enhance focus and boost metabolism. Studies testing hordenine HCI’s effects on humans are either non-existent or difficult to find.

Evodiamine (5 mg). Two studies showed evodiamine reduces fat absorption and decreases fat in mice.[4][5] Researchers have not tested the stimulant’s effect on people.

Black pepper extract (2.5 mg). It has mild metabolism-boosting properties when larger dosages are used. In this dosage, black pepper extract enhances nutrient absorption.[6]

How Many Capsules Do You Take?

Take 1-2 capsules a day. The company suggests taking just 1, but users who want optimal effects can take 2. Take capsules 6-8 hours apart. Do not take more than 2 capsules in 24 hours or serious side effects may result.

The best time to take 4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4 is 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch, and/or a workout.

Avoid taking the supplement within 5 hours of bedtime. The stimulants may cause restlessness and insomnia.

Drink plenty of water each day when using 4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4 (e.g. 8-10 glasses).

Is the Formula Safe?

4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4 contains safe dosages for these ingredients:

• Caffeine
• Raspberry ketone
• Synephrine HCI
• Black pepper extract

However, Halostachine HCI, Tyramine HCI, Hordenine HCI, and evodiamine were not tested on humans. As a result, researchers don’t know what dosages are safe or effective.

Halostachine HCI is related to ephedrine, which was banned by the FDA due to major safety concerns.[7] Although research doesn’t prove halostachine HCI is dangerous or safe, the relationship to ephedrine concerns me.

At this time, there are no reviews for 4 Dimension Nutrition Cycle 4 online. This makes it difficult for consumers to gather unbiased information about how safe and effective the product really is.

About 4 Dimension Nutrition

The company’s website has an “About Us” page, but little background information is provided. Instead, they make claims about the products, quality, and manufacturing practices.

I wasn’t able to learn who started the company, when it was established, or what awards — if any — it received. Other websites, such as BBB.org, also have little-or-no information about 4 Dimension Nutrition.

Fortunately, they do provide contact information, so customers can send questions and concerns directly to the company.
