Advanced Pre-Workout Support
I’m a big fan of BSN, and Clean Pre-Workout doesn’t look like it will be changing my mind anytime soon.
The ingredients are good, it’s easy to take, and the price isn’t too high. I’m definitely going to try Clean Pre-Workout as soon as it’s available from more vendors.

BSN has released a brand-new product: Clean Pre-Workout.
This pre-workout supplement is claimed to a simple, effective way to quickly boost performance in the gym and muscle growth.
I’ve tried BSN pre-workouts and protein powders in the past and have always been satisfied. I was excited to see what this new option has to offer.
What’s In It?
Clean Pre-Workout has a relatively simple ingredient profile. Nothing useless, no fillers, and no long lists of complicated blends.
I was pleased to see the ingredients lined up with my expectations in a pre-workout: energy, pump, and focus.
Caffeine
Caffeine is without a doubt the most widely-used energy booster in the world. It’s popular in pre-workout supplements because it gives a quick energy increase and helps improve metabolism.
There are multiple studies examining caffeine’s effectiveness. Clean Pre-Workout contains 200 mg, more than enough to see significant results. [1]
Beta-Alanine
Beta alanine is an amino acid that stimulates carnosine production. This has been shown to enhance muscle contraction ability and recovery. [2]
Nitrosigine
This specially-designed form of arginine significantly improves your workout pump. It immediately boosts blood flow, helping your get more power, oxygen, and nutrients to muscles. [3]
N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is a neurotransmitter used to boost mental focus. It allows you to zero in during workout for maximum performance. [4]
Huperzine A
Huperzine A is a plant extract commonly used to treat brain disorders. However, research shows it effectively improves both mental focus and clarity while boosting cognitive ability and growth hormone release. [5]
Who Makes It?
BSN is an advanced athletic supplements manufacturer that has been in business since 2001. They quickly became a leader in the supplement industry, known for pure, highly focuses products and stacks.
I’ve really liked the BSN products I’ve tried, from their pre-workouts to their protein powders. While their prices are a bit higher than other brands, you get a really high-quality product. In fact, their Syntha-6 protein powder is what I’ve been using for the past month.
How Much Does It Cost?
Because it’s relatively new, Clean Pre-Workout is only available from the GNC website.
A container of Clean Pre-Workout costs $45 and contains 40 servings. That’s $1.50/serving, which is a little high but to be expected with a new product.
I imagine the price will go down as other retailers begin stocking Clean Pre-Workout.
Is It Worth It?
As I said before, I’m a big fan of BSN, and Clean Pre-Workout doesn’t look like it will be changing my mind anytime soon.
The ingredients are good, it’s easy to take, and the price isn’t too high. I’m definitely going to try Clean Pre-Workout as soon as it’s available from more vendors.
