D-Fine 8 is advertised as a high quality powder supplement that can help you to lose weight without all of the struggle, engineered to burn fat, suppress appetite, and build muscle.

It is also said to boost the mood and increase energy levels without the crash of other stimulant-based diet pills.

In theory, D-Fine 8 is the ultimate solution for eliminating excess weight and helping you to get the toned, muscular body you’ve always wanted for an affordable low price.

Of course, we’ve heard these claims before, and naturally, we’re unimpressed with miracle quick fix solutions and magic bullets for weight loss. Rather than leaving D-Fine 8 on the shelves, however, we also couldn’t help but be a little curious.

Does D-Fine 8 have the clinically proven ingredients or approaches that will exceed other options? Let’s take a closer look to find out.

The D-Fine 8 Ingredients

To achieve these results, manufacturers have included both solo ingredients and a proprietary blend of stimulants in the D-Fine 8 formula. We’ll give you a rundown of what those are and what they do, along with the ingredient amount—if listed.

Niacin (10mg) is an ingredient you may recognize from many popular energy drinks. Also known as Vitamin B-3, niacin helps to process food, converting protein, carbs, and fat into usable energy.

However, experts agree that unless you are deficient in Vitamin B-3, you likely won’t gain significant energy by taking a niacin supplement.

Pantothenic Acid (5mg), or Vitamin B-5, is an essential, water-soluble vitamin that has been explored as a potential weight loss aid. Some believe that Vitamin B-5 helps prevent ketosis, a condition in which the body goes into starvation mode following fasting and low-calorie diets.

However, further evidence has suggested that these benefits are miniscule and physicians don’t generally recommend supplementing with Pantothenic Acid for weight loss.

Vitamin B-6 (1mg) is yet another B vitamin in the D-Fine 8 formula. It too has been rumored to aid in weight loss, with some dieters even getting injections of B-6. This vitamin is said to assist in red blood cell metabolism in people consuming low-calorie diets. This helps metabolism to continually increase, even as you are eating less.

Vitamin B-12 (3mcg) has also been administered to dieters in injection form as it is an important aid in converting carbs, fats, and proteins into energy. However, it too is said only to aid in weight loss if you are already Vitamin -B12 deficient.

Vitamin B-12 will not stimulate your metabolism and increase energy levels if you already have enough in your system. If you are deficient, however, D-Fine 8 provides slightly above the recommended allowance of the ingredient, which stands at 2.8mcg daily.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid is one of the more popular weight loss aids on the market today. This naturally occurring trans fat is associated with numerous health benefits and are said to be produced from the beneficial bacteria in the gut of animals.

However, human studies have yielded mixed results, and some animal studies even resulted in weight gain. The best use for CLA seems to be in maintaining weight.

Cactus Leaf Extract is the name under which the ingredient is listed in D-Fine 8, but further research has shown that it is actually Hoodia Gordonii, a South African cactus-like plant that was once believed to be a powerful appetite suppressant, but has since been shown to be useless.

Even the corporation that bought rights to all South African hoodia relinquished their plans to market the extract as an appetite suppressant after human trials yielded unimpressive results.

Synephrine, which has also been called bitter orange, is the closest thing the weight loss industry now has to the once popular and now banned ephedrine.

It is said to stimulant the central nervous system and provide powerful weight loss results for those who can handle large doses of the herbal extract. It boosts energy, increases the metabolism, and sparks fat burning through thermogenesis.

Guarana is a South American shrub plant whose seeds contain three times the caffeine of the average coffee bean. Because of this caffeine content, guarana has been marketed as an effective way to increase energy, mental alertness, fat burning and metabolism.

One study even yielded an average weight loss of 11.2 pounds over 45 days when combined with yerba mate and damiana, though neither ingredient is present in the D-Fine 8 formula.

Dandelion Leaf may remind you of weeds in your garden, but it has actually been proven to be an effective weight loss aid. A popular detoxifier, dandelion cleanses the kidneys and liver, regulating digestion and improving the metabolism.

The University of Maryland Medical Center also believes there is enough evidence to support dandelion’s use in regulating blood sugar levels, which may prevent the urge to binge eat. The root is more powerful than the leaf, which is present here, but is said to be effective as well.

D-Glucuronolactone is a naturally-occurring chemical found in connective tissues as well as plant gums. It is said to be the precursor for ascorbic acid synthesis, which makes it a popular ingredient in energy drinks.

It is also said to be a detoxifier, which could improve digestion, but studies have not yet substantiated these claims. However, with more energy, you could accomplish more physical activity, which will indirectly lead to weight loss.

Green Tea Leaf Extract is one of the best fat burners available on the market. It has been proven in multiple clinical trials to activate thermogenesis, which is turn burns calories and leads to lower body fat.

In one study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, green tea was shown to result in nearly twice the weight loss of participants who didn’t drink green tea.

Will D-Fine 8 Ingredients Be Effective?

You may recognize many of the ingredients used in D-Fine 8. After all, they’re the most common ingredients for weight loss on the market, and countless products utilize these exact ingredients to result in weight loss success. If you’re quickly skimming the label, then it would be easy to assume that because D-Fine 8 uses these ingredients this formula must be effective, too.

Unfortunately, that’s simply not true.

Some of the ingredients in D-Fine 8 do, in fact, promote weight loss, but D-Fine 8 lacks the necessary concentrations to be truly effective. For example, green tea is easily one of the most popular fat burners on the market, known for its abilities to significantly increase energy levels while decreasing appetite.

On the other hand, green tea also requires at least 400mg to burn fat, while not necessarily requiring that much to cause side effects. D-Fine 8 has enough to cause side effects, but not results.

Outside of that, D-Fine 8 also has synephrine, which many manufacturers have claimed to be the safe alternative to ephedrine. Not only is this not the case, but Synephrine requires at least a 250mg concentration to promote weight loss, and once again, D-Fine 8 is found lacking.

Even the ingredients that do provide information about their concentrations are provided in miniscule amounts and will likely prove ineffective, especially as many only work if you are already deficient in those vitamins and minerals.

Speaking of which, one of the biggest problems with D-Fine 8 is that most of the ingredients are not clinically proven, and most have nothing to do with weight loss at all, so you’re essentially paying for fillers and preservatives rather than genuine fat-burning, muscle-defining ingredients.

What Are the Side Effects?

D-Fine 8 relies primarily on stimulants such as green tea and synephrine to do all its dirty work – which means there’s definitely going to be a few consequences when you add this product to your current health regimen.

Green tea, can cause headaches, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, and nausea, while side effects associated with synephrine can be even more dangerous.

Vitamin B-3 can also prove a danger. If you consume more than 50mg of niacin a day, you can start to experience skin flushing, skin rashes, ulcers, liver damage, and an increased blood sugar level—which you definitely don’t want if you’re trying to lose weight. S

ince D-Fine 8 doesn’t tell us how much Vitamin B3 you’re getting, we don’t know if you’re at risk.

And of course, the high caffeine content in D-Fine 8 will result in restlessness and the notorious jittery feeling present in most diet pills.

Does D-Fine 8 Come From a Trusted Company?

D-Fine 8 is manufactured by a company called Muscle Werks, which currently sells four different products, including D-Fine 8, Faktor, NoZCG, and LeanSimplex. It provides little to no information on each product, though it does provide some contact information in the form of a telephone number, fax number, and email address.

Neither Muscle Werks nor its owner, Hans Drake International, has available ratings from the Better Business Bureau.

Should You Use D-Fine 8?

While there are definitely a few proven fat burners thrown into D-Fine 8’s formula, which can help you lose more weight and jumpstart your workouts, D-Fine 8 is not the most reliable or effective supplement you’re going to find online. Currently it retails for close to $65.00 a bottle, making it a fairly expensive investment for a product that has more side effects than actual benefits.

We feel that there are better supplements out there can give you more permanent weight loss results for a fraction of the cost, so be sure to take a closer look at our top products before deciding to buy D-Fine 8.
