Epistane is primarily marketed as a muscle builder, but at the end of the day, it’s a steroid. Not a prohormone or a testosterone booster, but a legal steroid.

Derived from dihydrotestosterone, this anabolic formula supposedly initiates the growth of new muscle tissue, increases output of existing muscle, raises resting metabolic rate, and improves body composition, which seems pretty ideal for sculpting ripped arms and washboard abs.

But as a legal steroid, can it really offer all the above benefits? And if it does, are there side effects to be aware of? Let’s find out.

Inside IBE Epistane

The sole ingredient in Epistane is 2a,3a-epithio-17a-methyl-5a-androstan-17b-ol or Methepitiostane.

Methepitiostane exhibits an anabolic effect in the body by increasing protein synthesis for muscle repair and growth. Studies have shown that it may even help burn away fat as you grow more lean tissue.

Not surprisingly, Methepitiostane is also considered anti-catabolic ingredient because it protects muscles from being broken during and after hard work outs.

With an ingredient like this, Epistane is definitely going to give you some mind-blowing results, and judging from the consumer reports I’ve read, most of their users have been very satisfied -some have even reported gaining 10 or more pounds of pure muscle.

Potential Risks and Drawbacks

Because IBE Epistane is a steroid, you have to ask yourself the question, “what’s the catch?” Will it cause severe negative side effects? Are there dangerous ingredients? What should you know that the manufacturers aren’t telling you?

Interestingly enough, there aren’t that many drawbacks to IBE Epistane. Most steroids have two effects, androgenic and anabolic – and it’s usually the androgenic that leads to bad side effects.

Too much androgenic effects can reduce sperm count or suppress natural sex hormones causing dependency, but surprisingly, Epistane’s androgenic effect is actually 1/12th as powerful as its anabolic effects.

Epistane’s main ingredient is also anti-estrogenic in many ways and can help prevent Gyno, or as the weight lifters call them, “man breasts.”

On the other hand, there have been some reported side effects. The most common one we’ve heard is people complaining that their joints felt dry after using it, and studies have shown that it’s also possible that Epistane could lead to lethargy, appetite irregularities, and perhaps even liver strain.

Will IBE Epistane Work?

Despite the risk of negative side effects, IBE Epistane will definitely work. Judging from the ingredients, it’s easy for us to assume that Epistane is going to help you stack on muscle fast and improve your overall physical performance.

However, if you’re looking into trying it, I ask that you be careful. Take a step back and ask yourself what risks you’re willing to take to move your bodybuilding goals forward.

We’re not saying you should steer clear of this product, I just want you to go in with both eyes open. As far as steroids go though, Epistane is one of the safest you’ll probably find – but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a steroid.
