Amino Acid Support
For those who dread the sometimes chalky texture of a protein shake, a capsule is a good alternative. It is also an efficient, nearly calorie-free method of delivering protein. However, for those who need more than 8 g protein per serving, Amino 10000 does not meet their requirements.
I recommend Amino 10000 to people looking for quick, taste-free protein without the calories.

Inner Armour Blue Amino 10,000 has just hit shelves as part of Inner Armour’s “The New Blue” line.
Like other protein supplements, this formula is chock-full of proteins and amino acids. Unlike most protein supplements, Amino 10,000 is available in capsule form. In capsules, there’s no need to worry about protein taste or mixability.
But can a capsule deliver the same results as traditional protein powder?
I looked more closely at the ingredients to find out.
Proteins & Amino Acids
Amino 10,000 contains proteins and amino acids. Each 4 capsule serving contains 8 g total protein. However, the individual measurements of the ingredients are not available.
Whey Hydrolysate is the most refined form of protein powder. It is the easiest protein form to digest and deliver a quick energy burst. [1]
Creatine Monohydrate increases muscle size and enhances athletic performance. [2]
Glutamine contributes to muscle mass bulk. It is the most plentiful amino acid in muscle mass.[3]
BCAAs consist of leucine, isoleucine, and valine. These amino acids work synergistically together to reduce muscle breakdown after exercise. [4]
Clinical Studies
There have been numerous studies to support the role of amino acids in muscle growth.
After consuming a drink with 6 essential amino acids, participants in one study saw muscle protein synthesis greatly increased.
Robert Coker, an associate professor at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock performed a study in obese adults. He said, “Essential amino acids, included as part of a meal replacement, along with whey protein, improved the synthesis of muscle and led to a greater loss of fat.”
Amino acid supplementation resulted in improved lean body mass, strength, and physical function in another study.
Purchasing Information
Inner Armour Blue Amino 10,000 is available on the official Inner Armour website. It can be purchased for about $30. Since each package contains 90 servings, it can last up to 90 days. However, the directions state it can be taken before meals and after training, so up to 4 times daily. At that rate, each package would last less than a month.
