Lipo 6 is a popular line of weight loss pills, but popular brands are bound to updated as new information and new studies come out about ingredients. And that’s what happened with Nutrex’s Lipo 6 Unlimited.

Lipo 6 Unlimited is the most recent addition to the Lipo 6 line from nutrex. It’s made more as an energy, workout enhancement in as well as an appetite suppressant.

Is Lipo 6 Unlimited the best Lipo 6 product yet to help you get the results you’re looking for? Let’s take a closer look.

The Lipo 6 Line

The Lipo 6 products include Lipo 6, Lipo 6X, Lipo 6 Black, and Lipo 6 Black Hers. Though each has a unique ingredient profile, all contain caffeine, synephrine, and yohimbine as a base.

Caffeine is a powerful stimulant which increases energy and metabolism and burns fat. But it can also cause rapid heartbeat, nausea, and jitters, among other side effects.

Synephrine is also a fat-burning stimulant with potential for both results and dangers. Often coming from bitter orange, synephrine can increase fat burning. But it can also increase risk of high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke.

Yohimbine is perhaps the strongest yet most controversial ingredient in fat burners. It blocks fat storage when adrenaline is released. But it’s also known to cause heart attack and stroke.

Nutrex has selected some of the most powerful fat-burning ingredients for their products, but the selection could lead to side effects for those unaccustomed to using stimulants.

Lipo 6 Unlimited Ingredients

Along with caffeine, synephrine, and yohimbine, Lipo 6 Unlimited also has the following ingredients:

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine. This amino acid made from phenylalanine may improve alertness, enhance performance, and improve workout intensity. It could also increase fat burning. But it might cause fatigue, joint pain, heartburn, headache, or nausea.

Mucuna Pruriens (40% L-Dopa). This legume contains high concentrations of levodopa, a precursor to dopamine. Dopamine stimulates metabolism and raises energy.

Paulinia Cupana (22% Caffeine). This plant’s seeds are packed with caffeine. It could lower appetite and may cause weight loss.

Dendrobium Noblie (5% Alkaloids). Dendrobium Nobile boosts athletic performance and lowers blood pressure. But it may also increase seizure risk. There has also been concern that some supplements with dendrobium are spiked with synthetic drugs.

The version on GNC.com also contains many additional ingredients that Nutrex.com does not. It’s unclear whether Nutrex is trying to hide certain ingredients, or whether it only wanted to include the important ones.

Taking Lipo 6 Unlimited

Different from other Lipo 6 products, LIpo 6 Unlimited has the convenience (and safety) of individual dosing rather than one-pill-fits-all. Start off with 1 capsule in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

Depending on tolerance and needs, increase the dosage to 2 capsules per serving, but do not exceed 4 capsules per day. Also, take it 30 to 60 minutes before a meal and not within 6 hours of bedtime.

Do not take this product with other sources of phenylephrine or caffeine, or use for more than 8 weeks. If you experience side effects such as rapid heartbeat, dizziness, severe headaches, or shortness of breath, discontinue use.
