MuscleTech has confirmed another mystery product to be unleashed at the Arnold Classic! One of three brand-new supplements, this one is called Micellar Whey. Although Micellar Whey isn’t available yet, we do know quite a bit about this protein-supplement already.
Ingredient Profile
Micellar Whey by MuscleTech is designed to provide 25 g of protein to improve muscle size, strength, and recovery.
Micellar Whey, as the name implies, provides micellar whey protein, a protein form that provides a sustained-release to the body. Micellar whey provides a substantial amount of leucine, a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) that is notable for its effects on protein synthesis. [1]
The ingredient profile as a whole looks pretty solid, with a decent amount of protein per serving and low calorie/carbohydrate. If you are looking to increase your protein uptake and still watch your calories and carbohydrates, Micellar Whey will for sure be a protein-powder to look into when it is released.
Flavors and Usage
MuscleTech Micellar Whey will come in 2 flavors: Milk Chocolate and Vanilla. These flavors have become a staple somewhat among protein powders.
Like any protein-powder, Micellar Whey can be used after workout, in the morning, or before bed. You can mix 1-2 scoops, depending on your protein requirements. To optimize results, make sure to get sufficient dietary protein as well.
