MuscleTech will be creating a Black Onyx Series, a “spin-off” of its latest Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx supplement. TEST 3X SX-7 is MuscleTech’s newest testosterone-boosting supplement.

Here’s a closer look at MuscleTech TEST 3X SX-7, so you can decide if its effective and safe.

A Closer Look at the Formula

MuscleTech TEST 3X SX-7 packs some well-studied testosterone-boosting ingredients into its formula. Here’s an in-depth look at some main components:

D-Aspartic Acid (3.12 g) is an amino acid that effectively influences testosterone release in both humans and animals. The clinical dose used during the human study was 3 g D-aspartic acid per day for 12 days. [1]

There is more D-aspartic acid in TEST 3X SX-7, which means you should benefit from its testosterone-enhancing abilities.

Boron Citrate (200 mg) is a dietary mineral that has been shown to boost free testosterone. [2]

Tribulus fruit extract (250 mg) is an extract that is being studied for its ability to positively influence testosterone levels. Some researchers indicate there need to be more robust studies to render this ingredient’s benefits conclusive; however, there is one notable study that shows daily tribulus terrestris supplementation for 20-days resulted in a statistically reliable increase in blood testosterone for the first 10-days. [3]

Ashwagandha Root Extract (125 mg) is used to reduce symptoms of stress and its effects. [4] Managing stress will benefit your body’s natural ability to produce testosterone.

Is MuscleTech TEST 3X SX-7 Safe?

There aren’t any stimulants in TEST 3X SX-7. Consequently, I don’t think you will experience any serious side effects from TEST 3X SX-7 supplementation. However, this supplement is not intended for people under the age of 18-years of age.

You can take a smaller dose to assess tolerance in the beginning, and then gradually increase the dose to the recommended amount.

Price And How to Use

Each bottle provides 30 servings, which consists of 4 caplets. You should take 1 serving per day. The company doesn’t specify whether you should take it on an empty stomach before a meal or not. You’ll need to experiment with optimal ingestion times. Don’t exceed more than 1 serving in a day.

As far as pricing goes, it’s a little expensive, unfortunately. So far, I’ve seen it listed for as high as $90 per bottle. When it is officially released, we’ll have to see if some third-party-websites list it for a more affordable price range.

That being said, MuscleTech TEST 3X SX-7 isn’t a bad supplement. The ingredients in MuscleTEch TEST 3X SX-7 are both effective and well-studied.

So, if you are willing to look past the price and are interested in a testosterone-boosting supplement with a solid ingredient profile, you’ll want to check out MuscleTech TEST 3X SX-7.
