Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7 is designed to improve peak power and recovery to optimize muscle growth.

Advertisements assert it is “the most popwerful clinically studied muscle-building stack available.”

These bold muscle-building claims piqued my interest, so I took a closer look at everything there is to know about this muscle-building stack to determine whether it is effective.

What’s Inside Clear Muscle SX-7?

Clear Muscle SX-7 features one ingredient: BetaTor (1,000 mg)

BetaTor is a trademarked form of HMB, a chemical studied for its muscle-growth promoting effects in old and young individuals. [1]

One study shows individuals 70 years and older received 3 g HMB a day for an 8-week period while exercising. HMB supplementation increased fat-free mass gain and percentage of body fat loss. [2]

Another study shows 3 g HMB supplementation in 22 resistance trained men over a 9-week period resulted in fat mass decreases and improved lower-body strength when combined with exercise. [3]

When taken as directed by the manufacturer, there may be enough Clear Muscle SX-7 to produce similar lean-mass promoting effects.

What’s Inside Peak SX-7?

Peak SX-7 features two ingredients in its formula. Here’s a look at both:

Peak ATP (400 mg)
Also known as adenosine 5’-triphosphate disodium, Peak ATP provides extra fuel for muscle cells. However, one clinical study shows oral adenosine 5’-triphosphate isn’t bioavailable. [4] This leads me to believe Peak ATP doesn’t provide muscle-fueling benefits.

Longjack Extract (100 mg)
Also known as eurycoma longifolia jack, this ingredient is studied for its ability to influence strength gain when combined with exercise.

During one study, 14 men underwent strength training for 7 weeks. Of the 14, 7 individuals supplemented with 100 mg eurycoma longifolia jack, and the rest were given placebos.

Results show lean body mass improved in those who supplemented with eurycoma longifolia jack but not in the placebo group. Researchers also noticed the eurycoma longifolia jack group experienced greater increases in strength. [5]

Has Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7 Been Tested?

According to the official website, Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7 was tested at the University of Tampa. Test subjects used Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7 and gained 18.7 pounds of lean muscle in 12 weeks.

Test subjects were also able to lift more weight during bench press, deadlift, and squat exercises.

Whether this study was subject to bias is unknown. However, these results are promising.

How Should You Use Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7?

According to the manufacturer, Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7 should be taken in conjunction with rigorous exercise and a healthy diet.

To optimize Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7’s effects, the company provides instructions for use on workout days and non-workout days. Here’s a look at the instructions:

• On workout days: take 1 serving of Peak SX-7 and 1 serving of Clear Muscle SX-7 about 30-45 minutes before working out. Take an additional 2 servings of Clear Muscle SX-7 throughout the day.

• On non-workout days: take 1 serving of Clear Muscle SX-7 and 1 serving of Peak SX-7 on an empty stomach in the morning. Take 1 serving of Clear Muscle SX-7 in the afternoon and 1 more serving in the evening.

Is it Expensive?

This price may seem a little steep, especially when considering long-term supplementation; however, it is important to remember you are getting 2 supplements.

Overall, this muscle stack is a little expensive. But, for those looking for an edge on muscle-building and who don’t mind shelling out the extra cash, Pro Clinical Muscle Stack SX-7 may be worth considering.

Most of the ingredients are promising, and the clinical evidence backing them is convincing. The only ingredient I remain skeptical of is Peak ATP, because I wasn’t able to find any evidence supporting its use.
